| Armored Core: For Answer (アーマード・コア フォーアンサー) is a 3D vehicular combat mecha-based video game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 developed by From Software and published by From Software in Japan and Ubisoft internationally. It is the 13th installment of From Software's Armored Core series. Armored Core: For Answer is the sequel to Armored Core 4, and takes place around ten years later. It was released in Japan on March 19, 2008, in North America on September 16, 2008 and in Europe on October 3, 2008.
| The planet is in a decrepit and decaying state. Pollution from not only human habitation, but from the hazardous waste given off by Kojima particles released during the LYNX War, has caused the surface of the earth to become virtually inhospitable. The remaining corporations from the Pax Economica formed a new group called "The League of Ruling Companies" or "The League" for short. In desperate need of a solution, they build airborne habitats called "Cradles" to house a majority of the populace - safeguarding them from the contaminated surface below. Some however, are forced to live on the surface. A few NEXT pilots have learned of the corporations' dark secrets and formed the rebel group known as ORCA to wage war against the League. Piloting the cutting-edge Armored Cores known as NEXTs, the player is thrust into the middle of the conflict between the corporations and ORCA. Each faction now controls super weapons known as "Arms Forts" that the player must battle against.

At this point, I'm fairly certain NEXT manufacturers were just trying to make mini space ships with all these thrusters and that sweet Kojima Particle fuel.

Also heavily implied in the ORCA ending that despite the cradles falling, humanity is still able to create spaceships.

@@Amatsaru29 Well, considering that the Cradles are no longer hogging most of the power, I wouldn't be too surprised if they just left Earth for new planets and leaving a lot of people behind, leading to the 5th Gen games.

imagine the whiplash of going up to 1.3k kph in that short of time
Imma miss Overboost in AC6. Assualt boost is cool, but it dont have the impact like Overboost does

im gonna push speed as hard as possible in ac6, even if it means dropping 3 weapons for minor weight decrease, if u see something out there going the 5x the speed of sound and directly into the sidee of a mountain thats me

@@jcbsalexyahoo it seems like you automatically purge weapons when it runs dry, so I am tempted to do a build that gradually gets lighter the longer the fight goes that ends with blade and pistol only with very high speeds

The max speed was slower than I expected. I think White Glint moves faster with less overboosters?

I bought ACfA (360) 2009 on Amazon for 10€ new. And 2013 for the PS3 for 8€. AC4 for 15£ because it was not sold in Germany.
