I successfully pulled this off on keyboard and mouse. I built a custom desk that is a ring around me with a swivel chair in the center. When you throw down the tactical begin spinning in the chair.

I modiified it.. I now got a spinning 360 desk controlled by foot pedals.

If u guys want to take the spindy to the next level, try air strafing back into it. You can do it twice, or a couple consecutive times. Its all about the circumstance, and timing.

@@caelanholder3765 in theory, that is. Admittedly I havent actually used it for that yet, I always forget because I'm panicked when I get stunned. Also since the arc stun now has proximity falloff you might not want to press it if you only get a bit of stun. It's hard to remember to press it in the middle of a fight after all 😅

I have a hot key on my mouse that when I hold, it makes a continuous look input to mimic controller stick input, the direction is just controlled by you slowly moving your mouse in one direction. I did this when I switched from console controller to PC M&K.

seen a number of ppl in clips/etc do this for a few months now, hell i've even seen sweet do it as well as mnk cn do it. strafing is one of the things that controllers are so much better at, fighting masters/pred controller players when they have a wingman is like praying they just strafe into the bullets if on mnk because fuck having the reaction time for that

@@Treeree I haven't tried it in an actual game yet but tried it in the range. In wootility I bound analogue stick right to T so I can press W + T whilst in the lift, at first it keeps a consistent 379-380 velocity but after about 4 seconds it goes to 174, then speeds up as I exit the lift. I'm not a horizon main but just got the wooting this week so was interested to try this out.

Very situational but broken when used.

I'm sorry but this has been a controller technique for seasons people also do it on ziplines too but it's less effective since ziplines lock the horizontal velocity unlike horizon tac and the higher your sens is on controller the better this is since you can do more revolutions making it harder to get hit

If you don't wanna mess with your sensitivity in the middle of a fight, you can rebind any key (like a mouse key if you want) to ''Left'' or ''Right'' int he config or an auto-exec. This will make it so whenever you're holding that key, it's the same as if you were holding a controller joystick in that direction, making your view rotate infinitelly as long as you're holding that key.

can you bind a key to +right or +left? i know in other source games this was possible, and adjustable by changing cl_yawspeed

i feel like this is going to be easier to hit when vs better players no? theres no unpredictability to it, its like valk ults people were garbage at shooting her out of the air for a couple seasons but people got used to the motion just like they did with octane pads, idk maybe im wrong but i feel like if this became super common place and actually good players were to go against it they would have an easier time beaming you as opposed to the reactive tracking with side strafes that are still pretty good regardless of velocity slowing down, still cool tho

I think it’s harder to hit just due to the actual speed and momentum gain you get from it, just too hard to track whether it’s predictable or not

It gets you a lot more velocity than side to side strafing, so there’s that. Also tracking someone in a circle is difficult. It mostly depends on the player using horizon though, there’s a skill component here. You have to experiment with strafing in large circles versus smaller circles to see what works best. Also sheep likes to drop out of the lift and then air strafe back into it to make the movement more unpredictable. Though I didn’t talk about that particular move in the video, you can see it at some points
