%100 The coolest, and most unique device I've been sent. Solderking's name is very fitting, he's an absolute legend for making something so out there, and being kind enough it over to me. I'll likely feature this controller in future videos, and I may even make more dedicated videos if you guys find this kind of stuff interesting. Regardless of whether you're there or not, I sincerely appreciate you watching this video! If you did, be sure to sub for more, as I'm now doing my upload 1-3 times a week nowadays.
I hope you guys have a great day!

So what you're saying is I need to make another one with an analog stick for the trigger and another analog stick for the bumpers? 🤣 I'm glad you like it!

To improve on your idea: all controllers come with drift but it's random what stick and it has a random chance to just be fine
Vidoes like this is literally why you and your channel are completely awesome! Great editing, lots of laughs. Keep up the fantastic work 🤣👍
Flydigi Apex 2 is a fairly unique controller that not many larger reviewers have touched. Has the BXY buttons on an analog slider, originally targeted for mobile gaming's touch and drag style of screen buttons, but also has its uses on PC, this is click and drag so it's B + analog slider, X + analog slider, and Y + analog slider, for an insane amount of additional inputs. Has eight extra buttons, four back, two inner shoulder bumpers, and two face buttons under the usual ABXY cluster that are somewhat offset from sitting under your thumb's IP joint, basically the opposite of the N64/Genesis/Saturn/fight pad six button layout. Obligatory gyro controls as every platform, and first and third party controllers, outside of Xbox and Xinput on PC have. Also has media control. Gamer Heaven is the only other decently sized channel I've seen cover it, though they don't really go into longer term reliability, repairability, or teardowns outside of a handful of controllers. Another KZreadr, BoomBakalous, has some decent mapping guides for the controller, considering how many more inputs the controller has. Reliability is gong to be the same as any other controller, just considering analog potentiometers, but I'm personally more interested in seeing the inside of it considering the _only_ source of any internal documentation is the FCC documents, of which the FCC is only really concerned about the RF chip, though they have a couple of interesting pictures but not enough pictures to piece together the entire controller; I can piece together most of it, but I have no idea what microcontroller and chips they're using or how they've implemented them, the FCC photos aren't high fidelity enough for the chips to be readable. I really wish one of the controller reviewers would actually detail what chips are in what controllers, not necessarily reengineer or detail the traces of said controllers, but it'd be nice to see what makes the Victrix Gambit better than your typical third party Xbox controller, how RIG/Nacon is getting such tight analog inputs, what makes the GuliKit KK2 controllers be compatible with the hall effect sensors or how they're doing Dinput, Xinput, Switch, iOS/Android, and soon with a dongle Xbox and Ps4/5, how this controller (Flydigi Apex 2) works internally considering it has an additional set of planar analog inputs, etc.; it'd be nice to at least have chip manufacturers and numbers, that way people interested in what makes a controller tick, or tick differently at least, can look up datasheets. Sadly the Apex 3 doesn't retain the oddities of the slider, additional face or inner shoulder buttons, or media control, but does introduce force feedback triggers on a non-PS5 controller; and based around the oddities of the Apex 2 never appearing on the manufacturer's site, odd support, etc., I have a feeling that with the Apex 3 being out, the Apex 2 is EO, with an unknown supply quantity. Apex 2 also had some odd limited edition variants based on Gundam, if you can even find those, as far as I can tell they may have been an Asia-only release with a few western resellers. On my list of eventual controller prototype ideas, the button slider is something I do want to replicate, it seems like an interesting concept, though using pointing sticks like ThinkPad's TrackPoint also interests me. This button slider is probably one of the more unique usable controller additions we've seen in a long, long time, and probably won't see it again considering the only platform that more or less utilizes it out of the box is mobile games and even then mobile games are inconsistent with control schemes, and no other platform is really built with these kinds of inputs in mind, outside of PC considering KBM has such a wide input set that no controller will ever have.

If you want a controller that most people haven't covered, I've looked at the 8bitdo sn30 pro. Mainly as a travel controller.

I remember seeing shit like this when i was a kid when no one knew what the ps3 controller would look. Now i can see its just as glorious as i thought it would be
cant run outta stick drift had me laughin
Here's what I'd like to see/try in an Xbox controller... Face: Left thumbstick stays the same D-pad stays the same Swap A,B,X,Y and right thumbstick location, so that it mirrors the left thumbstick and D-pad Paddles: Only 2 paddles, both ergonomically placed Bumpers and triggers: 3 rows... 1st row - Bumpers stay the same 2nd row - cupped/finger fitting buttons 3rd row - triggers (with mechanical trigger stop option) ** For FPS I personally would use the 2nd row of bumpers the same as I use the triggers now on a standard controller set up, and have the 3rd row of mechanical triggers act as the 3rd and 4th paddle instead of having them oddly placed on the back of the controller. This set up seems like it would help with thumb fatigue, as your thumbs would always rest in a natural position on the thumbsticks. It also gets rid of he awkward paddle layouts on the back of controllers.
keep dem vids coming
vCuda in your experience what is the best FPS Xbox controller? What do you think about Battle Beaver controllers?
Nice job on the wordplay cuda
I have been watching your videos for i while now and I need a new controller. What controller would you recommend and what is your favorite?
Between the victrix, elite series 2 and razer controllers in order which is best to worst?
Holy Frankentroller
I love that thing damn
Please do a review of the Stratus Duo from Steelseries. They're using hall effect sensors in the thumbsticks and the triggers apparently and I need to know if it's actually worth the 60 dollars.

@vCuda

Well for the most part, I've reviewed Xbox controllers, so if you're looking for a Budget xbox pro controller, I'd recommend the Victrix Gambit at $100. Or you could go with the cheaper $60 PowerA Fusion Pro if the Gambit doesn't interest you

Hey man! I recently heard about a controller called the powera nano which is intended to be a downsized Xbox controller for smaller hands. I'd give that a look, as it's destined to be like every other PowerA controller I've reviewed. Cheap, wired, and easy to replace when it inevitably dies
