Fun fact: they concreted over the LA river because heavy storms would cause it to flood and even change its course. In the early 19th century its outlet was around modern day Venice, CA - but after a flood its outlet shifted to Long Beach, which is about 20 miles south.

Dude, these new airport curtains are ushering in a great final era of CS1 for Imperatur. I already was inspired by you to use them on underpasses to make make it look like the overpass is on a concrete pad, and then you come up with this! And on only episode 2! Really looking forward to this series, excellent work bro

Wow, that concrete river turned out so perfectly. It almost doesn't look Vanilla! Fantastic infrastructure work around the river, too.

It’s so nice to have these videos on while playing cities skylines, really relaxing to listen to your voice explain what you’re doing while playing lol

Love this Vanilla idea! I'm so used to assets and mods I always shy away from going back to "basics". Great work and great effect with the river!

idk why I got recommended this except that I'm an angeleno, but yeah, you captured the feel of The River almost perfectly. It needs more graffiti to really add that finishing touch.

As the LA river has some parts where there’s reclamation going on, I think I’d be cool to see parts of the river where there’s raised land and trees/plants. Very cool build so far too!

All impressive as always, the best in terraforming and multilevel crossing roads and rail. But I think that the interchange next to the cargo station that is also crossed by the rail, and also on the same road of the highway exit will be a complete traffic mess.

Great video as always! With the viaduct over the river, please consider having the highway split slightly to have each highway go through an archway! There are a couple motorways here that do that, and it looks awesome!

The LA River is iconic to me because of Rockstar Games, the midnight club games, and GTA San Andreas and V. I spent my childhood driving on this concrete river.

All the different styles! Bro you are the Da Vinci of Cities Skylines. How do you create the different style groupings? I have managed to do a few and they are painstaking to say the least picking each asset you wish to be in say "American classic".

in terms of timelapses, do you have the camera put in the same place the entire time, or is there some sort of camera path method you use? if you build without moving the camera at all that is quite impressive!

What is the concrete like tiles hes using at 1:55 ?? I get that they are from airports dlc but i find it hard to believe you can put them everywhere throught objects like that, can you do the same on xbox? This would literally help me soooo much 🙏🏻

You can't use them with growable zoning. Almost anything ploppable works with them, but I've found some issues with stuff like power plants.
