Thanks for the review, didn't know about the 1/400 max shutter - I guess shooting low ISO is an option. Is there still low ISO colour film?

I've owned one for years, its spent the last ten years as an ornament in a cabinet. The reason the dreaded EO2... Save you money and buy any of the modern top ranked Japanese cameras

The flat cable connecting the lens to mainboard is prone to breaking up.

I’ve heard people have issues with them breaking. Never had any problems with mine.

There are companies making replacement cables which are built slightly different and supposedly should last longer. I’ve had mine done while it was in for a service for peace of mind

My Minilux developed the dreaded E02 error one day and has been inoperable since. Very hard to find someone who can do the repair. Even Leica won't.

That’s a real shame. These issues are the main reason I could never recommend these minilux cameras. The fully analogue SLRs seem to be the way to go.

Asking price for them is around £700-800, but I got mine in an auction for £500 so you can save some money if you’re lucky.
