The trigger is top notch and easy to shoot fast and accurate.

As a 68 yr old first time gun buyer this one spoke to me.I live in restricted R.I.so I had to buy the package with 5 ten round mags. Came with holdster and travel bag.Bidenomics has the price up to 6 and change counting tax. Mag restrictions suck also because they limit ones choices and cause us to miss out on sale prices.Dealers take advantage of this imo,as I notice higer prices on ten round selections.Things being what they are, until now I never gave guns much thought.But hearing the anti 2A crowd talk of stripping us of our constitutional rights, I knew I must act.I'll be picking up 3 more 9s this week when the 8 day wait is up. They're a Mossberg mc2c, Stoeger STR and Bersa BP9 cc.I bought 850 rds of ammo and joined a Gun Club & Range, so you can say I'm all in . I'm retired so I'll have tons of time to shoot and learn the ropes safely.I'm pretty excited. Good job on the review. And great job Liberals, you've created a new gun owner!

I just bought one brand new and got a range bag five mags and a holster for $500 I took it straight to the range and was super impressed with it love it and I’m also a Glock guy. I went back and forth with this Mako R7 and Sig 365 on the way to the range I was hoping I made the right choice and after 100 rounds I love it. I got the one without the optic but that’s because I already have a FN 509 with an optic.

I was a Glock fan until about 2010. But in the last 10 years, I became frustrated that Glock didn’t evolve. They just rested on their reputation. Here are my issues with Glocks: 1. The trigger is just so-so. 2. The sights are plastic 3. Plastic guide rod Yes they are lightweight, accurate and reliable…but they were all those things back in 1982. I have owned 3 Glocks and they were all good pistols but when it was time to get a subcompact, I chose the R-7 Mako. Here’s why: 1. Features. This Bubitz design is packed with innovative features and things that should push the cost up, but doesn’t. 2. Value. I bought mine with the bundle that included 5 magazines…4 of them 13 round, a Kimber range bag and an IWB holster for $520. That means I paid about $400 for the pistol itself….about the price of a Taurus. 3. Tritium night sights standard. 4. The best trigger on the market in a striker fired pistol from the factory. 5. Optics ready without an extra cost. 6. Aggressive texturing. 7. Aluminum mag release, not plastic. Time marches on. Kimber took a while to come to the party, but their first striker fired pistol is a hit!
