In IITs there will be lot of clubs, programmes and oppurtunity to do research with Proffesors as well. If we need to be passionate we can use IITs to fullest. There will be a lot to explore. I know that many IITians are not so successful it is because their passion ended there they might have chosen easy path and might wasted time sitting in room and watching screen and not socializing but I think I will be passionate even after getting IIT

Bro i was passionate about robotics since 6th grade , so i learnt programming and embedded systems but unfortunately India is not developed in robotics so , currently there no good colleges offering ug in robotics so i am aspiring to do btech in MECHATRONICS from IIT BHILAI. There are many options beyond CSE and IIT. Do anything but be best at it and top it. CA, ICWA, CS etc. dont have reservations as well. Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical engineering have good opportunities. Just don't follow the mass blindly. Do what you like and do it truthfully.

My Reason for Choosing IIT is : Not for package, not for tag , not for parents (coz all they want me is to be stress free and happy) , not for campus or fests and enjoyments..... The only reason and i suggest others to follow this is to ... Explore.. 1. Ever since i was kid i want to be inventor, IIT'S may not be a perfect choice for it because the out dated syllabus and our education system solely focuses on just understanding it and writing exams and get good grades... But not on experimenting... But if not the top institutes of India then what else could be ?? And other thing is 2.to explore myself..just experiment many things and work on that one thing i am interested in ... Doesn't matter what it is .. maybe money , a skill , business or anything.. and IIT'S just provide a perfect environment for it... (Because you know you have to manage your time and other things) ... *In Short*Just want to explore everything in life ...
