Fanehuil Hall opened in 1742, it was destroyed by a fire in 1761,as to the reason why that lottery was started.The Hall was a gift to Boston's community by Peter Fanehuil,who was the nephew of the very rich merchant, Andrew Fanehuil.When Andrew died,Peter took control of his estate.Oddly enough, Hancock ended up disliking the lottery concept because it encouraged gambling .

Bing Crosby was part owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates and I have his personal subscription copy of Roberto Clemente's only Sports Illustrated cover, which in itself is one of SI's all time covers.

I love the historically significant pieces, the John Hancock from John Hancock, and the signature of Warren Buffett (although I like Charlie Munger better) were probably my favorites. That may be enough to create a museum for, in the future! His collection was great, and diverse, and tells so many of history's greatest moments! Thanks for doing this video, and videos like it!
