Believe it or not.. A lot of people were enjoying Roman's title reign and didn't want to see Cody win. Why would they be happy he lost? Are you that slow? i'm from India and i can confirm , most of Roman dic riders are unhappy , as an Indian, with my experience , i can say that most of today's Indian fans have started watching wwe in early 2010s like 2014s and they grew up watching the shield guys , they don't know much about Cody , eventually he will win them over with time. I'm glad that my elder brother introduced me to wwe in 2006-07 , that's why i know all these guys , guys like dolph, drew, cody , sheamus , kofi , miz ,bryan and i'm proud to see how far they've come.

Had the biggest return at Mania 2 years ago with an all time great match. Wrestled a Cell match with a torn pec. Wrestled several more great matches last year. Also has been a very good representative of the company outside the ring. He more than earned this. Ok to be fair I don't think anyone was cheering Del Rio as a face. The dude just sucked in that role. As for Sheamus in 2012 most didn't even want him to win that Rumble. Its safe to assume the people saying those things are not the general audience or fandom. The beautiful thing about IWC is you can ignore them 90% of the time. If you search for haters then you'll easily find them. What you end up missing is the millions of fans along the way.

What baffles me is the fact that if Roman won we wouldn’t have seen him after mania. People say Cody’s boring and that he just keeps talking despite the fact that talking is ALL Roman would do. He’d show up once in a blue moon, do a 10 minute entrance and a 10 minute promo, fight at a PPV if we’re lucky and repeat. I love Roman but Cody cutting two promos in two weeks is still a lot more than what we would’ve gotten had he retained

These parasite Roman Stans (and notice I didn’t say fans, these people Stan him) started shitting on Cody within MINUTES.

My only complaint IS his promos. They literally take 45 MINUTES! That's way too much time for anybody to keep their interests. I want the Rhodes promos we was getting in AEW. Those were amazing. Just because the AEW fans didn't like them, doesn't mean true wrestling fans don't like them. His aew promos were quick, precised, to the point, and filled with passion.. now they're long winded and dull.

He was boring before he got it and Is boring after , the tie ain’t gonna change that

I don't think Cody is a particularly interesting person. He's a great wrestler, but I've just never been able to get interested in him regardless of all of the gimmick changes. He just seemed like a fairly average guy in all of them just with a different coat of paint. His father wasn't an amazing wrestler but he had so much charisma, his brother had the best of both worlds, but Cody seems to not have that charisma. At least, that's my personal opinion which is not really of any value to anyone other than me. Maybe he's just a different style of wrestler for a new generation that is looking for something that's a bit more close to reality, but for me, I need the larger than life characters in wrestling, that was always a big part of what drew me to it.

Ok I agree but let’s not forget Roman needed 4 other people to get that far. I like Roman but he was so predictable people got tired of the same shit you always knew he would win when the bloodline interferes. At the same time people were used to seeing Roman as champ they didn’t think anyone would match his star power.
