He's always been very kind to up and coming talent, particularly those who have appreciated and been inspired by his style. Even going back to Trump's early days. Disrespectful Ronnie has always been directed towards the old guard and people that play the game in a way he doesn't enjoy. I do miss savage Ronnie at times.

Great snooker. Two great players with similar styles keeping the game flowing, a pace that rivets the fans attention and makes the slightest a potential loss of game. I grew up with American pool - 8-ball, 9-ball, later One Pocket, but when the pace is on and the shots are falling in snooker there is nothing better as a spectator sport. The position play is incredible, and the ball pocketing a cut above what anyone might expect to see even from great champions. What a set.

@karlchilders4493 😴😴 One can be assured and have manners at the same time. Don't know if you've noticed, but most sportsmen on top of their game have a certain air. They do because they are pros, it is their work. Show me a non-'arrogant' pro, please! Believe, however, you have commented here because you have an axe to grind. Whatever, if you can't see the bloke for what he is to snooker (and the fact that he wai'd a Thai opponent--no-other non-Thai does that), then you have an agenda. With that, move along,

It must be overwhelming playing your hero. 29:40 When Tepchaya's chin muscles twitch, that's an involuntary response that goes hand in glove with being close to tears and crying. We have learned to conceal or lie about emotions with eyes, mouth and other facial and body muscles, but you'll notice you cannot conceal or lie with those little muscles when you're close to tears. I recall a young Ding cried after losing to Ronnie.

I've always felt that the only reason to sign up to play against ROS is that the chair you get has a better view of the game and it's probably cheaper than buying a ticket. But mostly you just get to watch.

Pause at 24:49 - Anyone else noticed how he literally presses the cue onto his chin and bends the cue? Is this to ensure straight cueing since the pressure between his chin and bridge hand means the cue cannot deviate? Really interesting. I've heard people saying that his cue bends but thought it was camera perspective, but on shots and camera angles like this it's really obvious that the cue is bending.

No need to select the key moments to include like other matches, maybe the match was 10 minutes longer than this video.
