New subscriber here! I just wanted to say that I got slightly emotional watching this, because I grew up in a home that was not taken care of like this and it has really impacted me into adulthood. You're giving your children such a wonderful example and a calming space to grow up.

Another good hack I learned was from Emily Norris and it's the "one touch" and essentially it's putting something away where it goes the first time instead having to touch it again and put it away later

Hahaha for me the opposite has helped me stay on top of decluttering the clothes we don't need and are not used and just making space work better without having to fight it. Literally my favourite quiet times whilst i listen to a podcast folding clothes and she plays with her bedroom activities or animals.

The weekly cleaning rotation I came up with on my own is almost identical to yours! I do the same tasks on the same days as you, except I vacuum and mop downstairs on Tuesdays and then do the same upstairs on Wednesdays. We're expecting baby number 1 in October - glad to know this routine is sustainable for you with kiddos!

As a new mom to a two month old I’d say give yourself grace to not get everything done. I’ve found making a list of 3 things each day (even small like getting dressed) helps so much to feel like I’ve done something besides breastfeed all day lol Good luck, you’re going to be a great mom!

This is exactly how we do chores in our home. I have an almost 4 year old and almost 2 year old as well as me being due with our third baby this Fall. There are some chores we do several times a week like vacuuming because we have a lot of carpet. I do my laundry the same exact way too! Not grocery shopping on weekends has improved family time on weekends as well so I’ve switched to strictly grocery shopping during the week. In addition to daily/weekly tasks, I have a list of tasks that need to be done 1x per month and 2x per month. And I can squeeze them in whenever I please. I try to declutter one space per week in my home to cut down on clutter.

To help you, I suggest you only have ONE area for toys. I see you have some toys in the adult room, which makes you have to pick up toys and clean three areas (their bedroom, family room and play room) instead of one. Think about the possibility of having toys only in the playroom and with the rule of toys not leaving that room. It gets way easier for you!

Thank you for sharing this! I have a question and maybe a compliment in one: Your kids are so content with you doing things around them, and I know you involve them in a lot that you do.. but do you ever feel guilty when you are doing something next to them, and how do you cope with it? I struggle with balancing doing things with my kids and next to them or while they do other things (even though they seem content with me doing so!) I hope my question makes sense! Love your videos, and thank you for the motivation! It’s 6 pm here, and you gave me the energy to finally make my bed!

Hey for stains why not try savon de Marseille. I found it works best. There are two ways i would use it either dampen the stain and rub the soap or because i have diy-ed an all-purpose cleaner from grated soap and water in a spray bottle i will just spray the stain area (this is even more time efficient) i find that i don't have to scrub just let it sit for a bit and toss one the washing machine. The soap worked like a charm on a stains that i had on for like a year on a cotton table cloth that even vanish and oxy bleaches did not take out and also on baby clothes and greasy stains from cooking. I use the grated soap for pretty much every cleaning task - from hobs to floors and i feel it is better than most things you can get in the shops. Also as the soap is so natural usually made from a few ingredients there are no artificial chemical smells just clean surfaces :)

Hahaha i don't do anything like this and especially not during the pregnancy until this final month of nesting, however, i also appreciate Milena for making 'close the kitchen' a part of our bedtime routine. My toddler literally says time to close the kitchen and says goodnight to each room as we go upstairs to the bathroom and then bedroom. Its funny that there's basically a whole other channel i get to binge watch with similar content but all fresh and from another environment and a whole bunch of unique kids to inspire me through this new phase in life.

You can make your own! That's what I started doing when I had my son a year and half ago - just equal parts vinegar and distilled water (distilled water means no streaks on glass or appliances) and then a few drops of whatever essential oil I'm feeling. It works so dang good and is so cheap. Just pop it in a pretty amber glass bottle and you're good-to-go. ;)

Thank you for showing your mess. I have one child but as a single parent it’s so hard to keep things clean all the time 🥲

I clean houses for a living and i have found out with my own house gets dirty about 3 days later. My kids have moved out of the nest but i raise 2 grand kids 5 and 9 and they are very different from my kids my, my kids did not really bring there toys in the living rooms but my grand kids bring everything out after 4 years of that i said no toys in my front room only in the den and when your done put them away or there mine. With young kids like yours that is heard to do. With a house you do need to clean every day

Did you put soap in your grapes?? I am curious cause I just rinse fruit with water most of the time and at most baking soda and water.

There are some soaps that are fruit/veggie-wash friendly (and mostly are even biodegradable), I have one from the brand Dr. Bronner but I don't know which one Delilah is using. It helps to get rid of all the germs and other stuff on the fruit/veggie, especially if you shop plastic free and you don't know who has touched the fruit/veggies before you

Me "what is that mop contraption!? She must have linked it...(30 seconds later) this is the most real video I've ever watched with missing one day of cleaning and it looks like a toy bomb went off " LOL
