Guy's i might be able to help you out with this. Did any of you change your cursor colour with the update to something other than the default black? There is something wrong with those cursor colours that seem to glitch your screen and chromebook like crazy, go back to default black if you have changed this and your screen will stop glitching out.

Mine turned on and then a couple minutes after turned off and now the charging light won’t turn on nor does the computer it self and it’s a school chrome book and I’m really scared

So I have a Chromebook that's not the same one that you have but it is a Chromebook spend 11 and it's not working after I powered it off and powered it back on already two times I put in the Wi-Fi password and everything and it just like doesn't work it gives me the same thing and it stays the same way that it is it keeps on turning off and on so if you have other tips for me that will really help because I've been like this now for a year and it's not really working

My Chromebook turns off and on every second really fast. Do you think the USB thing will still work? I have one of those newer Chromebooks that turn into a tablet with the power button on the side. Someone gave it to me and said I can keep it if I can fix it.

@@typicalandre8722 Are you asking me? I don't know much to be honest but I can try. If your Chromebook is old it's possible that you need to replace the battery. I had to do that with my Windows laptop but it might be a little more complicated to do with Chromebooks.

Same issue here, on an ASUS C423N Chromebook. I successfully downloaded the recovery OS onto a USB flash drive using a different computer. It loaded successfully into the bad Chromebook, but then it goes right back into another boot loop!. I repeated the entire process and it went into the boot loop again. What to do now???

Had this same issue today, wouldn't boot after OS recovery. Just incase any one is still having a similar issue try to replace the battery. That ended up fixing my issue.

Screen is on but there is no any message on the screen. Please help me to solve my chromebook.

Hello, As of today there is no other way to re install chrome OS. Something you can try is go to the screen where it asks for the USB and restart the chromebook. Sometimes that's all it needs to work again. Thanks for the comment!

Hello, Mmmmmm i’d try to uninstall and reinstall the web browser you are using. uUpdate the software for your web browser and the chromebook itself. If after all that still works the same, powerwashing the device normally fixes the issue.

Hello, If your chromebook belongs to a school then they can reset the password and/or find the username. If it is your personal then the username and password should be the same as your gmail account. For personal chromebooks you can also powerwash the machine to start fresh. If I am using my HP Chromebook 15 (2019) and put music or an video and I turn off the screen for just listen, if it is disconected form AC adapter I dont have troubles, but if I make the same actions with the AC connected the chromebook crash and restart :c, help me please I buy it used recently and have 3 weeks more of warranty I need kmow if it is a hardware trouble o just software to wait for futures Chrome OS updates..... p.d. sorry for my very very bad english I am mexican and just know basic school english :c

@@gamingwithbot1072 I found the problem with mine fixed it, for others it might be some other issue though. I just repaired the issue by tightening the screws on the bottom of the Chromebook of course U have to be sure it's turned off properly first, well at least I think it's not going to do that anymore where it was turning off and on. And anymore it must have been that when I bought it. From the manufacturer from Officeworks, the screws in the bottom must have been not tightened in enough so now it's working really good no problemo✌️

Hello, What I’d try next is to powerwash the device, i have the link for that video in this video’s description. If that does not work, maybe the issue is the operating system and needs to be re installed, I have a video for that as well. Finally, if nothing works, the issue might be physical, the motherboard, hard drive, etc might be failing. In that case it may need to be replaced. Hope it helps Thanks for the comment.

Chromebooks suck.... they just do. I'd give them a try but when they break like this and it's widespread- juat gotta call it ehat it is. They sell them cheap in hopes that when they break people will just replace it since they're "cheap". Same issue, no screen message, recovery hasn't helped even after it completes successfully and suggests removing USB to reboot. It's ridiculous... model is "HP Chromebook x360 11 G1 EE" Save your money, buy a real laptop.
