Just brought the black version 64gb as well. I deleted some of the games I didn't play and added games I like with ease. I'll be traveling with this device and leaving my more expensive Retroid Pocket +3 at home. Awesome video.

This is a nice little handheld, perfect setup.

Got mine today. Wow. PSP at 1x to 2x with no frame skip. N64 plays very well. Dreamcast is great also along with PlayStation. Triggers are the biggest issue i have with it. Beautiful screen and full access to retroarch settings for each core and game out of the box. UI is ok and very manageable. Very happy with my purchase.

Better performance than expected, so we're now seeing technology advancing!

There is a couple different teams trying to put together CFW for the TrimUI Smart. It’s got a decent following. There have been so many releases the last couple months if you aren’t paying attention or aren’t specifically waiting for one you’ll miss a bunch.

Very impressive for a cheaper handheld. Usually Tekken is hard to emulate. Since this is Linux based I’m sure you can add different t hardware with pre loaded games.

The rom lists are probably just easily downloaded batches, that way they can generate one all purpose card for every region they sell it to. Expecting a custom card just isn't going to happen.

I've seen these online and they charging extra for the mid cards ?are the games on the sd cards or on the internal mempry ?

Hey there, it's just a hdmi plug and play that's been rebranded. Unfortunately those have extremely limited performance capabilities. I've reviewed several that are exactly the same. They are fine for retro stuff in most cases but not good for n64 and stuff that's way more demanding. In my opinion you're way better off with someone higher end that costs maybe $50-$100 more

D to download the latest patch, fixes a lot of little things including date/day and the f/n button now works.

It’s all low profile for ease of the pocket. It’s nice to just throw this thing in a pocket for on the go use.

Does it play goldeneye on n64...that is the test!

That might explain the little patch on the bottom that no one ever seems to know what it is. It must be for the Wifi signal.

Wonder if your version came with god of war on psp,,,trimui actually will run god of war,and even run some ps2 games .

@@jarod3371 Yes, I know, but his came in a case, mine was already inside the unit. Plus, mine didn't come with that Vertical Shooter, or Pokemon "best" folders, nor did it come with Linx, Pico8, or, Game & Watch, emulators.

Maybe you bought console only with cheaper price. Because i almost accidentally purchase without sd card. Lucky i look through before purchase. Btw yeah without sd card is cheaper and better since you can get better sd card brand than stock one it gave just and have to pay extra. For example no sd card 60$ and have sd card included 70$. You will have better bought new better sd that just only 5$. 🙂

Trimui smart pro is actually a pretty nice handheld,,I have had mine for a month now,and it is a pretty well built handheld system,I got mine off of Amazon in 2 days,,only thing I don't like about it the trimui smart pro there is no active cooling,,,but that is only because I think it needs a cooling fan,and heat sink.

Is it just me, or did anyone else notice no sound effects, whatsoever, besides at the start of the race of Outrun (I believe was the game being played), and was only music being played? Am I wrong, or is that normal for that game?? I haven't played it in a very long time, so I can't remember. Thinking about getting one, and was just curious.

If it cant play Dreamcast titles without issues its a pass for me. I hear this thing actually struggles with DS games so that's not good.

I do enjoy hand held. But I prefer pc. One thing pc can do is liquid cooling. I don't have liquid cooling but this is something I am saving for.

I mean it's a game console...and it's the cheapest one that wouldn't be considered a kids toy. If you're trying to stay under $50 you might as well not even bother. It's going to be the biggest pile of steaming 💩

Not a dime. Have you tried it? What's crappy about it? It works great for the price. It's not a steam deck but it also doesn't cost $500. If you think this is the crappiest handheld in the last decade you must have not tried many.
