this man attempted to do a two people challenge all by himself. yet, between 12th minute to 15th minute in the timer, he literally just enjoyed having conversation with some stranger and cleaning off his beard. still managed to smash it before 30mins. absolute monster

Out of all the food contest eaters you're like the most awesome person ever, such personality, talking to everyone with a smile, you deserve all success!

Props to the establishment for offering such great value. I'm not even a dessert eater but I can appreciate the hefty amount of quality food at low cost. I hope for much success towards this business. 👍

American reporting: I don't know if you've seen the sorry state of American cuisine in average places, but you'd pay through the nose here for a meal of this quality. Everything was immaculately made! I could almost taste it through the screen. What I wouldn't give for shops of this quality here.

There are places like this in the US. They say “$25 with minimum of 2 people”. What they mean is the smallest plate they have is giant and it’s $25 per person so minimum of $50 total. I don’t think this is $25 total if you fail, probably $25x2=$50 if you fail. And if I’m wrong, maybe that’s why they’re permanently closed.

Imagine you are bringing your friend to this place to take on this undefeated challenge and you think you have a shot and you look over at the wall of fame and see this absolute chad on the wall just beating the two-person-challenge all by himself.

When he gives compliments on the food it feels real. Food critics are one thing but a competitive eater is on a different level

So.... a challenge for 2 with a timer of 1 hour done by one in 30 min. That's a 4 fold win right there!

Anytime Beard says the words "This is yummie" while eating a mountain of food, you know it's legit. You know the place does, indeed, make yummie food.

for the past 2 1/2 years I've dealt with a eating disorder. stress, anxiety, etc. your content is incredible and cheers to you. Watching your challenges helps build up a appetite to eat. I don't depend on your content for my overall health so don't worry being responsible for my choices. it's all been healthy 😌 anyway, as always you killed it! cheers

At the beginning of watching these challenges I often feel hungry but by the end, I feel I've eaten. This may be my new diet plan. Let the bearded man do all the work. This one looked particularly yummy.

Im a pretty slow eater myself, but this is probably the first challenge Ive seen were Im like...with the right partner, I could do this! A couple of sandos and then my neverending cake stomach takes care of the rest.

He was disappointed he didn’t have an irl viewer. That’s honestly hella wholesome considering how most celebrities treat fans

Pretty hilarious to know that the first time ever completed winners of this challenge will have their picture on the wall……with one person in it 🤣

The cake would literally be the most difficult part of this. Sandwiches and salad are easy…anything rich, thick and creamy would knock anyone on their arse! You did so well with that cake!!!!

This is strangely one of the best challenges I’ve seen you do, Beard. No real greasy food and a bit of etiquette in a food challenge is oddly satisfying. I’d have done the first two plates by myself but those puddings would have done me in after one cake.

I’d like to add that in addition to the food, your photography made everything so photogenic. The colors were truly outstanding !

Man, at first i thought "alright, where is the catch?" and i suspected those 4 slices of cake. When you lifted that humongous "slice" of choclate cake i never thought that could still fit... Let alone the red velvest cake. Definitely a steal at ukp25. That's way enough for 4 people. And i eat a lot. Thanks for sharing. May your innards never fail you ;)

Actually, challenge food is not a very interesting topic in Korea. But what I found interesting about his videos was that the restaurants he chose were the ones I really wanted to visit. Literally has good taste. That alone makes it worth watching.

I don't know about the challenge part, but I've seen a lot of huge portions of food that are meant to share! Also one giant donkasu challenge (which I think was also completed by a competitive eater from KZread).

That looks so lovely - shout out to the songbird café - I don't suppose they are used to competitive eaters :) . Well done for the finish too...

Aww, such a shame that Sister Beard couldn't join you for that challenge. With it being a joint effort she would finally have got a prize too and between you there could be a new world record time!

I've had a traditional afternoon tea lunch here in the states at this little shop in a small town in Georgia (love that you visited our state and hope you enjoyed it). It was really good!! It was the normal size and I had a friend with me.

Oh my yum!! What a challenge! I think I'd have poured the cream into the coffee, drinking it straight up looked painful!

I enjoyed this one. Mrs. Beard would have made a great partner. Here in southern California my women folk like to go for English High Tea. They think it's posh. The Songbird Cafe isn't posh. It's a cafe! Still I loved the venue and the food. Mrs. Beard would have only eaten 2 to 4 slices of bread from those sandwiches anyway, so Beard could have eaten all the cole slaw and the cakes by himself. Signed: a fan from southern California.

That dessert plate looks delicious...but after eating an entire massive plate of those sandwiches, the veggies and pot pies - that would make me nervous!

After finishing he should have asked " any dessert? " Can't believe he done that alone but it did look delicious.

Ooooh that looks so good. Ive never had english tea or tea time type thing. It sounds like a true treasure... id just enjoy it for real.

This seems a lot more fun than most of the challenges. The medal is a nice touch.

That's actually making my mouth water - it looks really delicious.

The music does fit, in my mind I could see people dancing to it in that era, no twerking though 😂 I’d love to go have after tea, but I’m allergic to gluten, dairy, eggs, yeast and many more, I’m not fond of cake or biscuits either…or sausage rolls and pies 😂 I suppose I could ask for a crisp salad and a banana for my rice cakes 😂 like Mrs Beard I’m picky about brands so I’d supply my own 😂

I normally come in here to say "came for the challenge, stayed for the dessert", but considering this challenge I was NOT disappointed. Awesome work, Beard!

That was one great looking dessert plate. I've never finished an afternoon tea sharing...that was as usual an awesome finish.
