@@keionchua6777 he was one of the best commander who loves Jeanne more than anyone else, but then the saint was betrayed and sold out and was burned alive, he stopped being a good man and wasted his life for bad purpose like getting drunk every night, then someone said something about reviving jeanne by serving some kind of demon, then he became demon servant just to revive her, even the cycle killing he did is to make her rebirth or something like that. I think that's why, I searched it too btw at the internet.

Iskandar is a persian name for Alexander The great.

@@mohamedelhediissa289 um..... you are totally wrong that is real Alexander and the difference with what we know about his appearance is because of Hephaestion(more correctly it is because of Hephaestion's sister though) she act as Alexander many times and and Alexander's mother manipulated information it is all explained in Lord El-melloi ll's case file you can even know only by watching anime without reading book

Ironically, caster and his master are much closer than any other servant and master. Also I actually quite like the design of caster based on the history background and other scene from fate series.

The Fate/Stay series is a convoluted one. The series was a Type-Moon visual light novel and has 3 different routes you can take. The original Fate/Stay Night, released in 2006,was the first route you can take, produced by Studio Deen with 24 eps. Then in 2010, the movie adaptation of Unlimited Blade Works, the second route, was a redesigned by Studio Deen. Then in 2011-12, Type-Moon started their collab Ufotable to create a prequel, Fate/Zero, which takes place 10 years before Fate/Stay Night. Ufotable then recreated the UBW movie into a 26 ep + 1 OVA series. Lastly, they produced the 3rd route of the series, Heaven's Feel, which is a 3 part movie series released in 2017, 2019, and 2020 respectively. There are many side stories for the series, but the main core of the series is what is stated above.

I never knew i could click this fast.

It's really funny - in the year I've been into anime I've gotten obsessed with 4 series: Sword Art Online, Food Wars, High School DxD, and Re:Zero (I also became obsessed with RWBY, but most people won't count that - although that was what started the interest in anime for me). All it took to make the Fate franchise my newest obsession was you all announcing you were going to be doing this series. It's so good.

I think you guys need to post more Fate reactions since the series overall is very long. Btw 14:45 Brian you're not wrong. That guy is so powerful the author of the show himself had to add something to his personality otherwise he would've won the war easily

good reaction ~ fate has very dark and complex touches ~ you could look up the names of the servants so that you know and understand more why they act the way they do, for example blue beard (gilles de rais) was jeanne D'Arc's comrade in arms, After her death, he was tried for kidnapping, killing, torturing and raping children, mostly, and for witchcraft. Pd sorry for my bad englis, i understand the language but i'am very very bad in grammar xD

Each servant that they summoned, is the heroic spirit, they are the real legends in our world in the past, you can start searching their names in google, you'll find history about them.

@@blacknaoki4935 no that's not because of that, he is not a heroic spirit and he can be summoned only starting from the 4th War, thanks to what happened in the 3rd War. Evil spirits could not been summoned in the first 3 Wars.

Compared to the manga, this shit is nothing XD the manga is a different type of beast entirely.

Basically Ufotable is jokingly called unlimited Budget works not to mention the list you have incomplete, I posted a fuller list on ep 3 and usually money they get go to future projects. Fate Zero saved the franchise since Studio Deen was tanking the franchise and all they did was Fate Stay Night and Unlimited Blade Works movie version

1 thing if good to know before watching the show is all servers are some kinda of historic figure (Ridar-Iskandar=Alexander the Great and Saber-King Arthur, the others are kinda of spoilers so no need to say)

Ahhh i see you are a new to Fate Series, Keep in mind that actually all of the servant that you see based from the "Real life" Legend and Myth (Like King Arthur Pendragon), and Also like from real Historical Figure (For Example The Famous Inventor Nikola Tesla and Edison). FYI: yes Servant is a Human too when they alive during their Legend, but due to some Heroic act or some influence by something, Their Spirit recorded to the "Throne of Heroes" thats why Master could Summon them With a Relic that Linked to the Servant.

Yes, this anime is a dark one. the writer is Urobucher, a wellknown writer to kill many character and make them despair in show. Maybe in the future you want to wacht Magica Madoka too 😁

Full blood Gods like Zeus, Indra, or Ishtar are too usually too powerful to become a servants. Normal Servants are Demigods to humans. Kings Queens Tyrants Knights Warriors Pirates Killers Mage Any u could think of could be and might already is a servant Oh Rider is “Alexander the Great” or the Persians called him “Inskandar” { Although king of ancient Macedonia for less than 13 years, Alexander the Great changed the course of history. One of the world's greatest military generals, he created a vast empire that stretched from Macedonia to Egypt and from Greece to part of India. This allowed for Hellenistic culture to become widespread}

If u not familiar with Iskandar the conquer, try search Alexander the great. Every servant in this fate is a legend Hero that appear in the past...
