Definitely wouldn’t be impressed if my swim got lit up by one of these in the night. Still unsure why people use Bright white LED’s why not softer red light? It’s just ignorant no need for it

Thanks for the the review really nice comparison. You get what you pay for and this will help when stalking them out the edge at night. Its been shown many times they don't spook of light at night. I personally enjoy your reviews and find them useful especially as we can't go to the shops at the moment. Obviously they aren't going to slag them off or companies wouldn't send them the gear and they wouldn't be able to do any reviews!

If you want to splash a bit of money on a head torch, LED lenser MH8 is the one to go for. Blue, green and red settings. Main beam has focus which allows you to use a lower mode and still see a very good distance. Without pissing off everyone else on the lake.

Great bit of kit is the battery a 18650 that would be pukka same as my vape gear

Ideal for sea fishing on a beach at nigh.

Id want to know does it get hot ❓1200 lumens usually would get really hot when used for a length of time.

Don't think the comments are very fair. Is it expensive....yes....is it super bright....definitely....do you have to use the 1200 lumens setting while fishing....absolutely not and you probably shouldn't unless you want grief or more importantly to spook the fish. But it's nice to have the option of 1200 lumens, you may need it if packing up in the dark and you have to walk a precarious path back to your vehicle. Would I pay £100 for a torch....Definitely not! Some people would though.

This comments section is further evidence that carp fishing attracts the biggest fucking apes to the bank.

That's likely to summon batman or better still e. t. Surely casting at snags you'd wrap up and clip up plus your average lake rules normally mention no excessive light. £100... Carp tax on a non carp company, that's new.

Led lenser h15 has 2500 lumens so that is more than double this, so that would be the most powerful head torch on the market surely? Myb review that one....?

Nah not getting paid for that or getting freebies

I've seen different brands offering 200 lumens for way less on ebay and amazon saying that what's the point of having on max other than casting, I got a couple of handy brights to light up my peg, even got a sensor light that's amazing which was £16 on amazon This headtorch is just pure lunacy

Absolutely no need for a head torch that powerful on the bank. I'd be so pissed if the person opposite me was using a torch that powerful.

That is just way to much if I was fishing and some doughnut started shining that over the water I would not be happy 🤜🏻

If you need a head-torch this bright your low key scared of the dark

A torch with a red lens is all you need at night. Should be saying how absolutely ridiculous this would be to use on any water you share with other anglers.

That is perfect for where I’m fishing, will be great for shooting rats too.

I think Torchy might get a bit of stick using that unnecessary piece of crap on most venues.

Too expensive 💰for my tackle box I’m sure there’s others on the market cheaper that can give the same spec

I asked this question on Facebook and was ignored (shocker). When are you going to give honest reviews about products ? I have never seen you give any negatives to anything you review which to me says you’re obviously getting an extra few quid to review products from manufacturers to sing their praises. I will be unsubscribing to you on all media platforms as I don’t want bias in a review I want honesty.

Just dnt expect to catch fish

Thrunite th30 over 3000 lumens and only £60

I think this is ridiculous
