Fuckin facts to the maxx. Def my favorite but gameplay in 3 better but 2s story better then 3 but 1 has the best story but obviously older gameplay wise. Glad you found these gems. Oh everything above just my humble yet I will say knowledgeable​ opinion. @@basicwitgirl

A lot of people assumed when the first trailer came out, they thought the Normandy being destroyed was part of the 'bad ending' of the game, or some event that happened late. Not right from the get go. Glad to have you woth us, commander. Looking forward to your reactions 😊

Would you consider it a spoiler to say "if you want to do side missions, do them before __ as you won't be able to go back" and things like that? Cause me personally I wanted to do all the side stuff so I was really glad for info like that because it honestly would've made me really bummed out if I would've locked myself in and not been able to.

honestly just the opening shows how strong Commander Shepard is. to "die" in the most horrific way possible. yeah she's brought back as we all see here but anyone else would have major trauma from that. perhaps wouldn't even be functioning at all. meaning they basically still dead in a way that way. Shepard? ready to fight still she is. well not 100% but still

I really enjoyed your ME1 play through and I was so hyped when I saw this pop up on my feed. ME 1 set a strong foundation of building this amusement park ride and ME2 is like getting in the car and pulling the lever. Can’t wait to see how things progress and knowing how much attention and care you put into ME1 I know you’ll do fantastic in 2. The stakes are a bit higher in this game but you’re going to crush it! Can’t wait for next episode!

I originally missed ME1 ,despite many of the gamers I knew saying I should play it. A friend of mine obtained a hooky version of ME2 and sent it my way. I loved it so much I went and bought both the games and the available dlc. Going through 2 again, this time with an imported ME1 save, transformed 2. As good as it had been from a vanilla start, the sudden extra storyline and callbacks to 1 were such a great addition. So glad you're enjoying one of my favourite series, Basic!

a game playing tip: do not worry about paragon vs. renegade choices so much when you get the prompt to take some action in the dialogue. some of the renegade choices have rather amusing cut scenes and can have a positive effect in some combat that comes shortly after....most of your choices will be paragon, but the ones you make as renegade choices won't detract from your paragon score....you will continue to get paragon points in the basic dialog choices you make, as well as an occasional renegade point

Just finished watching the intro. Game over, on to ME3, lol. Best intro to any game i have ever played. And Taylor's first edit had me ROFL. It's going to be a wild ride with Basic Shep and i am here for it!

ME2 has one of the best openings! I was spoiled and it still blew me away. So looking forward to your playthrough of this one .

Maaate as much as I have enjoyed watching your ME1 playthrough I have been waiting for this moment and you absolutely did not disappoint. Everything levels up from Here, not just the graphics Some hints for you Definitely do the Mordin mission asap as that helps with Upgrades, and speaking of which ask squad members for Upgrades for the Normandy Your health and shields will regenerate automatically just go to cover Scan and Probe every planet even in the Local cluster as this is vital for upgrades and lots of hidden finds. The Paragon and Renegade options happen a lot so be ready to click. Eavesdropping on conversations is always a good idea You have a little more weapon options available to you so look into the armoury and even the mission loadout screen for you and your squad as some weapons do way more damage than others even if their fire rate isn’t as high. Looking forward to seeing your playthroughs as this is absolutely my favorite in the series and hits sooo hard. 😊

You can map individual squad powers to the numbers on your keyboard. Makes combat very fluid w/o having to pause.

Absolutely love the cast in these games! Already we've seen Martin Sheen as The Illusive Man and Yvonne Strahovsky as Miranda (in a rare case where she gets to use her actual Australian accent). In addition to the already great cast from the first game like Seth Green as Joker and Raphael Sbarge as Kaidan. They could easily cast a show or movie of this series and just have many of the voice actors play their own characters 😂

makes me wanna replay the trilogy again even after i replayed the game 3 times lol

Oh such fun! The queasy feeling in the pit of your stomach when you realize you are working with Cerberus and it looks like you really have no other option if you want to continue protecting the galaxy. Besides Joker seems happy so they must be okay? right? ME2 throwing everything at you but the kitchen sink when all you really want to know is "where is my sweet boy!". Mass Effect writers are sadists I tell you! 😱

ah the first time i played ME2 i instantly fell in love with that game and it has some of the coolest dlc in gaming and on top of the it has some of the best storytelling i have seen in a game, i will never forget the first time playing ME2

You are in for a wild ride as you make your way through this fantastic and iconic Trilogy... and become a part of the ever-growing collective Zeitgeist forever marked by this game. An emotionally investing roller-coaster ride well worth the price of admission! 🤟🤯 P.S.... you say you never heard of the Rachni, but I don't see how as the Krogan gained their fame (and later infamy) having fought them on behalf of the Salarians & Turians? 🧐 Enjoy your playthrough... this game will stay with you long after you've put down your controller/mouse! ✌😎

For your next ME1 playthru… the orig Normandy does have an armory, it’s right next to Ash, you can equip every teammates gear there … then mark all the stuff you won’t use to either sell or convert to omnigel. On PC the little trash can icon on each item is very hard to see for some reason. This was a new feature added to the legendary position. Gear and weapons are much simplified in ME2. Also, since I’m caught up with all your ME videos so far I have to wait each week. Torture! 😉

Halfway through this video, I realized it'll be best to watch your Mass Effect 1 playthrough first. Especially since you chose Kaidan. Subbed.

What difficulty are you playing on??

First of all, it is SO NICE to find another streamer who also romances Kaidan 🥺🥺 Second, you reacted the exact same as I did when I first played this game 😅

2 things you NEED to know before going forward! Credits are hard to come by in this game! Spend it wisely. Complete as much of the story/side missions and get as many upgrades as possible BEFORE! starting the "Reaper IFF" mission.. This game has a hidden in-game timer that starts when you start that particular mission. You'll want to do it that way for reasons....

8:11 You're in zero-gravity environment, what with the gaping hole in the hull. Meaning Shepard had to activate her magnetic boots to keep herself stuck to the floor and not floating away, that's why it's a slow and careful walk 😀

Enjoyed your start to ME2. Would suggest that you use your own an your teammates powers by your choice and not do it via the game choosing when they get used. Biotic combos are powerful if used together. A singularity that grabs a group of enemies will explode if you hit it with incinerate, overload, or other powers causing damage or deaths to those close to the explosion. Your 2 years was hilarious

You're rushing this. Please stop that. You'll be glad you did. You're missing out on things. Slow down a bit. Enjoy the ride. Listen to the story. Your choices matter. Remember that. Take your time. Choose wisely. Most importantly, have fun. Peace, love and light, Earthling. ;-)

Just to let you know, the choices you have available are there based on "You never played the first game" and "you have played the first game" with a choice or two thrown in for good measure. That's why you get some responses that don't make sense when talking to an old friend.

the vanguard is pretty cool in ME2, the shockwave skill especialy in the lower difficultys. with that u just throw husks and other smallfry throught the room like no tomorrow. which is pretty usefull in many sections of the game. such a shame that they changed the skill in ME3.

ME2 is a masterpiece and holds up very well after 14 years.

The trilogy is a masterpiece. This one is generally considered peoples favorite. It has nod(s) to a certain movie classic, if you've seen said classic you'll pick them up straight away. If you've not, then I'll tell you on your final stream of this game. Not exactly a spoiler, but it is something of an "Oh s**t, REALLY?!" kinda thing. Enjoy. Just like the 1st game your decisions carry over to the 3rd game, so be sure to save on your final day. Quicksaves, save asses.

I have killed Ashley so many times I actually did another run just to see what happens when she lives 🤪

two tips if i may: 1) use your ammo powers, they need applying at the start of the mission and do not go off when you switch weapons; and 2) for the love of the Maker, learn to use cover! especially if sniping.

I played ME2 itself 7 times and the whole series about 5 times.... I had NO idea there was a fully voiced recap! I always played them back to back so I always skipped it!
