I will never forget doing this. And I still can’t believe how cool it it was to get an actual useful reward from an Easter egg

LA Camo - it makes you invisible to thermals and flirs, but at the same time is completely of brightest white color for usual scopes to spot you faster. It maybe op in those few snowy maps, but they are so rare to find.

As someone that went through the Easter egg, I'm glad they gave it out. Seeing you need others to do it, and BF4's population definitely isn't growing, I'm absolutely fine with people getting it. Plus, at this point, most people still left have done the Easter egg anyway just to get the dog tags, so it's whatever.

I'm still salt about that. I spent a year doing it the right way. One day walked into the elevator and 3 dudes were their with the right gear. Greatest gaming moment ever. Now you can just pick it up, sucks but it's cool I guess. I'm on pc now and don't have to go through it again thank God

I'm still impressed how people still found the button in any of those locations let alone the tree stump. Some of them they can pass it off as they discovered it on accident but the tree stump and the furnace? Now those guys must've been capping they had a little too much time on their hands, some would've considered it worrisome.

@@GhostGamingg Oh it is. I did the DICE camo with randoms so I guess I'll manage DICE LA too. It just bugs me that I'll never be able to unlock the CTE Specialist camo. I see you also didn't have 300 hours in the CTE. Now that it's closed that ship has sailed, oh well.

I'm glad I got this video recommended, I had no idea there were apps for both lights and morse code. I got past lights with help of someone random, then I gave up on morse code trying to decode it myself - it didn't end well. Going back to this easter egg next time I reinstall BF4. Edit: finally got my hands on DICE LA camo ty for posting this guide

I remember doing the DICE LA camo easter egg by hand all the way until the morse code and couldn't decypher it so I just recorded a video of it and let it sit. Now I'm mad because I changed PC and lost the video EDIT: OMG so I get on an unranked Dragon Valley server and all the lights are on, I'm like shit wrong kind of server but I have a doubt so I look at the last light (the morse code one that I already activated 5 YEARS AGO) and it's still blinking! Even 5 years later and after deleting and reinstalling the game multiple times it didn't forget I did the first steps! But now thanks to the decoder I have my code!! Thanks so much man, now Imma head out to get that camo finally!

Having the phantom bow is the coolest thing I have in game. I also love all the melee options.

@@redfive6020 no, but if you leave them on, when you turn on the next one, it will alter the lights in a different way. You want to turn a switch on, check which lamps turn on, put it in the app, then turn the switch off again.

@@redfive6020 if you use the app to work it out, make sure to turn each switch off after checking the lamps. Otherwise you will be there forever going back and forth trying to get all 20 lights on at the same time.

I love how it's nearly impossible to get the DICE camo nowadays. Problems are that people know how to do it but they decide to troll by camping the island to kill people who go there or they destroy the trees at the beginning of the match. Then the light is hard to see even when you get to the spit

@@Mr.F0xx Once you get hit by the lighting (or someone else), you need to make it to the island and get onto the tree, the light only appears at a CERTAIN angle so SLOWLY go up the tree and keep an eye on the water, if you go too far up you won't see it and you can easily fall off

getting the la camo was on my bf4 bucket list , so i rented my own server today and got it , super easy with the lanter solver app.

I remember always donning the UCP camo cause it made you look slightly blue Made you stick out like a Sore thumb but it looked cool I guess

how do i get a server thats empty, as well as unranked, so i can do the buttons. i jus got battlefield premium edition over the christmas. also do i need to record the lights flashing to put it on the morse decoder

I was one of the first 25 ish people in the World to get the Phantom Bow, legitimately. (There were a few who did it by glitches. Until DICE added a killbox to the elevator and eventually just put the bow on the CTE map for everyone to unlock) Mainly because of how active I was on Battlelog with the Easter egg hunt FOR it. It was SO much fun. I had to go to work that day and saw an alert at 5am , checked Battlelog and someone had figured out the password to the Elevator. So I got online and tried. It took almost an hour for us to figure out the proper combo of camo, dogtag, skin on gun, etc for EACH squad member. But the whole process WAS SO MUCH FUN!! I made friends with people who I am still friends with to this day during that time. The Easter Egg stuff in BF4 was top notch.

Was on Xbox and had an iPhone and it took forever to configure the Morse reader but finally got it

Watching this in April 2022 after playing bf2042 bf4 was and still is amazing completely different game from 2042

I just did the DICE LA easter egg in 2022 PC. Some tips: there are specialized servers for this. You can find them by searching "DICE LA" server names, or just use the advanced filters to find a suitable server. The second code (the individual one) is 9-digits. I recommend you to decode your morse code at least twice. After you wait the 2 minutes, you have to be fast pressing the button and introducing your number. Otherwise, it will disappear, and you will have to join a new game again. In total, it took me about 1 hour solving it.

@@kevinmunro8349 you can either record the code Morse with your smartphone and decode it later on PC or use some mobile app that decode Morse as you play. I tried some android apps and none worked right for me, or at least I didn't know how to use them, but they exist. I really recommend you to use the PC software he uses. It's super easy and it works great.

I did the peacekeeper easteregg on BF1 and i think its a cool adidition to the phantom program. You may coud've added that into your intro/vid. Still nice Video !

@@jeremiahcarrillo9601 The second code button will appear regardless of the fact you are on a different server. My code still worked despite having to search for a few servers, which means you have infinite attempts at finding the correct server without harm to your progress!

Hey, i tried the paracel storm megalodon thing for the dice camo twice but it didnt work. Im hit by the lightning on top of the wind turbine but after that i cant see that light in the water. Both times i've done it in full servers. What am i doing wrong? Does it need to be a ranked server?

Be careful to hear the click sound when you turn on or of the switch

Been sometime since I last acquired both Dice camos, helped my BF get his after it took me an hour or two, some complications got in me way. I may not be good at the game as I used to be, but I enjoyed doing the hunt for them. I love doing easter eggs and just primarily finding these with people I enjoy with. :D

This was a pain in the ass for me to get it, but it was worth it.

So for ps4 players its impossible to get dice LA camo unless you understand morse code, can mod your ps4 to run this program, or you're extremely lucky with the lights?

There's a certain combination of the buttons u need to press, the method in the video is just so a solver can find out your specific combination
