Can you soca review on the HP prime calculator ? And then maybe compare it to your favorite ?

Hey nick, I wrote an essay for my college app I want your thoughts on the topic. It was about how my experience with working with my dads lawn business and working and speaking with clients eventually led me to have a grow better relationship with teachers, coaches and community figures due to my new communication and people skills learned from speaking to different clients while out working with customers. I was able to land a position volunteering at my local hospital a serve visitors and patients in a positive manner and continue learning and encountering new experiences along the way.

What re some calculators that are next level compared to the ti nspire juat curious

The TI nspire CX CAS can be great for some students some of the time on the SAT. It's much more useful on the Math Level 2, though (also, AP Calc, AP Physics, AP Chem, ... exams). I've been using the nspire CAS nearly every day for the last 3 years (v1 and v2). I also used its predecessor (the TI-89) nearly every day for over 15 years. Without thinking too hard, I would say that the nspire CAS is most useful on the SAT for completing the square (this can be done for two variables at the same time, such as when putting the equation of a circle in standard form), polynomial long division (just use the expand feature), factoring, simplifying, solving quadratic equations, solving an equation for a variable, arithmetic with rational expressions, ... It also has a text editor of sorts that can be used to save equations, notes, etc. The College Board claims that such CAS calculators do not give an advantage. With the regular SAT, that's a fairly accurate statement, since most of the math can be done quicker by hand (not for all students, though). With the Math Level 2, which we don't need to worry about anymore, now that the subject tests have been dropped, the College Board was simply wrong. In my regular tutoring of math/science, I get anywhere from 2 to 6 students per year to purchase the nspire CAS. All those who have used it on the SAT, and especially the Math Level 2, chuckle over the College Board's claim. Anyway, to anyone out there wondering, it's as I said before: The TI nspire CX CAS can be great for some students some of the time on the SAT (make sure you get the version that says "CAS"; there's no point in purchasing the non-CAS version, provided that you're allowed to use a CAS calculator). If you already have a TI84, don't forget that you can always download SAT 3rd-party programs for it that will complete the square, etc. And for those who ask about the HP Prime, which I have been using for the past year, I would say the same thing. The Prime pretty much does everything the nspire does (however, it doesn't have a text editor and won't complete the square with two variables at a time [use "canonical form" found in the catalog, for one variable]), but it's a bit more difficult for students to pick up on, mainly because most students are already somewhat familiar with TI calculators.

What exactly does cas do because I have the normal nspire and im not sure if the difference is significant

I am a rising senior and was working on my college app essay and wanted to run this idea by you. let me give you some background...i have been a volunteer at an organization called 7 cups which basically involves me texting/comforting people who need someone to talk to. one day i came across a texter from romania who told me that he and his family have been trying to come to the usa for around 5 years now but keep getting denied. he and his family do not have any prior issues with the law. this situation made me realize that coming to the usa is far too difficult which inspired me to become an immigration lawyer and help immigrants get their citizenship. i am applying prelaw to all schools. is this a good topic to talk about? please be brutally honest ! thank you so much and have a great day!
