Dwarf killed by bug. Working as intended.

Fake info, this bug just happened to me. Only shotgun, no mining, no dwarf rotating.

I Just tried and it was pretty underwhelming. "Friends" only explode when you are quite close to them, there's a hefty delay between explosions and damage is kinda meh.

Hahaha I was hoping you would try it out, glad to see you pick it up :D but sad it wouldn't work either, I posted a bug report on Steam about it.

Absolute best 1-2 combo are the two guns that shoot in four directions. Those two paired together and both with full overclocks is literal god mode.

oh man, i did it pretty much same as your build and completed stubby upgrades during the dreadnought fight, started glitching out just like yours but i was able to kill it and complete the run

I have not yet opened the swarm grenade, but I will definitely try this build in the future 😁

I wonder if the point of failure lies with the interaction between the Cluster Grenades overclock on the Shredder Swarm Grenade and the EM Discharge on Stubby. It might be interesting to try it without picking Cluster Grenades.

it definitely is that interaction. I had the EM discharge stubby before with lgm turrets and shock fences and it worked fine. Swarm grenade is just too much

To be fair, the shredder grenades were doing nothing before the bug occurred anyway. 90% of the time they just floated around in circles and de-spawned without attacking anything.

so the 3million damage was nothing?? litterally had second most damage and they had the most DPS

Moonwalking dwarf in space mining for gold and nitra, who would have thought this possible?

Could you try doing a build with Electric only? (weapons that can be turn into electrical is good too) and see how high you can get your crit up to? Since there's a unique electrical only critical chance upgrade that you can get from level ups and shops, it increases how high you can get your crit chance up to, a lot more easily, also getting the nitra powder and keeping most nitra from beginning to end game no matter how painful it is (even if there's legendary weapon upgrade).

The "problem" is, if I go for max crit then I really want to play the m1000 for the biggest damage numbers and that one unfortunately does not have an electrical dmg overclock. Would need to think about what the second best/ most fun alternative would be

@@idlecub That M1000 gets equivalent to legendary crit chance x1 and two rare/epic crit dmg upgrades, but it isn't necessary though, is it? I mean, getting 300+ nitra is already 150%+ crit chance, crit goggles is 30% crit and 100% crit dmg, after that upgrades and other stuff can give a lot of crit! But with electric too, the crit chance upgrades are much better too, it can go pretty insane I imagine (^w^)

hahha. nice vid. my game crashed as i managed somehow to gain 3 beams on the fire turret. game wasn't sure how to handle that as it seems. 1 from a legendary lvlup and 1 additional beam due to the weapon overclock. the moment the flame turret got placed, the game froze. can't tell if that was one of a kind crash or as it will ever happen if u pick 3 beams - maybe someone else can confirm that - i neither got the chance to pick 3 beams ever again. maybe it's fixed.

It seems the PC got Overclocked along with the weapons🤣

I don't understand the game mechanics enough to know what is going on here. Is the idea that the stubby shoots a drone, causing an electrical explosion, and that explosion deals damage? Then the bug was that the explosion also triggered this effect, and the drones were too close together, thus they created a chain of infinite explosions?

It was good while it lasted.

Worth it.

How do you unlock class mods?

In main menu click "milestones", then check in the right most tab called "classes". They all unlock at certain class ranks (you get xp after every run for the class you played so you unlock the class mods by just playing really)

Wonder if turning off the damage numbers would have been enough for the game to not bug out.

Did a run with numbers turned off and it didn't freeze up my system. It was only hazard 1 so there were never a massive amount of bugs on screen and I'm running a 4080 so that may have been the difference though.

@@Hagop64 I'll try this as well, my game crashed twice with damage numbers enabled on hazard 4 and 5, both times I had the cluster and double drone upgrades. Using a 4070 super btw

​@@Hagop64this was not a gou power issue.. rather a bizzar glitch. The low FPS was definitely a CPU power issue, possibly GPU

Update: I tried it with damage numbers disabled and my game didn't crash. My Swarm grenade was not 18 though, so I was missing 3 drones on each grenade. I did have the +1 drone and cluster upgrades and a ton of reload and projectile speed and my stubby (giggity) was quite powered up too. The explosions were triggering like crazy! I did also put my render scale to 50%, I usually play from my lazy chair with my PC hooked up to my TV so it was running at 4k but I don't know if that was necessary

I wish this game was available on mobile too 😢

I hate those flying bugs too. I hope they nerf their movement speed when they go over terrain. They 100% ruin the flow of the game for me

I tried it with damage numbers turned off yesterday and it took like 5 seconds longer until everything got messed up again but it still happened for me unfortunately :(
