Dude: nobody "suffers a congenital heart defect," you suffer "from" a congenital heart defect. It is an underlying condition that you are born with that then causes other sh!t - like hear attacks. Sorry to be that guy... I know nobody loves a pedant... ;)

The thing that sux for the kid is that no matter what he does in the NBA, his father will ALWAYS be mentioned either before or after they mention Bronny James.

Nothing wrong with that but having to fill them shoes and never being able to come close is the problem especially when Bron is like "I got to play with Bronny" knowing that if he don't gettem in he wont even make it. Thats the sad part and you know Bronny know this to you got to know your daddy getting you into the league. Thats where this heart defect thing came from I think he has a scape goat when his abilities are lacking.

@tmoney8180 Because of the heart issue, nobody will honestly critique his game. And that will hinder his progression as a player.

It doesn't help Bronny that his father is acting himself as the prototypical social media parent overly hyping his kid into something unrealistic with the difference those other parents aren't an at worst top 2 player of all times in that same sport with I don't know how many followers (at least 50M on Twitter). Bronny isn't even ready for the G-League, as current bench player in college whose Per 40 stats aren't even that impressive, and might never become NBA ready and yet being claimed that he is good enough as a real rotational player in the NBA.

Lavar actually got his kids to go from broke to worth hundreds of millions. The middle brother, who has no business in the NBA, even got multiple chances due to Lavar. The only knock on him is that he allowed them to play too much and it destroyed their knees/ankles. But in Lavars defence, most kids in that generation did that and only now are we realizing how destructive it was to their longevity.

@@Zett76i went from not starting on a team to being the top scorer in one summer… Bronny has the capability of being a great player. Sometimes something just clicks , you gain confidence. Time will tell. But having one bad year in college coming off a life threatening injury is certainly not the best way to assess someone potential.
