Victor Gyokeres has impressed me over the last 3 seasons. He was extremely dangerous in the championship and always looked a threat. From the sporting games I have watched, he looked lethal every time he received the ball. Victor Gyokeres is some player.

I always said that about Potter how useless he was with strikers. It's like he was desperate to get rid of as many as he could as he seemed to prefer putting on an extra man in midfield than having a striker. I remember one season he went without a striker most games as the only one he'd kept around was Maupay who was often "left out of the squad completely for tactical reasons" . Too many people (hipsters) bought into the playing style they forgot that Brighton always looked completely toothless up front under Potter. His solution was to bring welbeck in and have him take (and miss) penalties.

they rely on a 'moneyball' spreadsheet style system which is pretty closely guarded so other clubs don't copy them. The owner Tony Bloom made his fortune by basically working out probability of success in gambling, so he applied the same methodology to scouting players. It really shouldn't have worked as they're essentially signing players based off stats and numbers, but jesus christ it worked incredibly well. There's some good videos about it on Tifo and The Athletics KZread channels

I'm a supporter of Sporting Clube de Portugal and yes, I preferred Sporting because of Sporting's project because it was more ambitious for him.

Remember the name Viktor Gyokeres.

Some players shine at low levels but the Premier league is alot harder, which is why many players fail

true, remember the preposterously named Ricky van Wolfswinkel? Prolific for Sporting but beyond useless when Norwich spent big money on him. Although with that said, I think Gyokeres would succeed in Prem as he's done his time in England, he knows what the game is about over here so it'd be less of a shock to him

As a cov fan gyokeres did unimaginable things for the club! He carried us from 24th in championship to Wembley and then we improved our whole squad when he left with the 22.5 mil

It’s a very tough terrain to operate in successfully consistently like Victor has done. ✔️ ideally the best prospect in this coming transfer window. Under a great coaching coach like Mikel Arteta and top quality players around him, in the most productive team in EPL like Arsenal rn, he’s gonna do well.
