It's great looking but they should have just made it wider & deeper to be a skiff. It's just the next step in the Kayak evolution. I'm looking to get a mount for a 2.5 or 4hp on my big fish 108. I gotta reinforce some areas first. It's a great looking set up the fish wells could have been deeper.

Nice flip up deck. Needs a solar panel somewhere and to knock a zero off the offer price for pure BEV other than that great first effort. Marinas still wholly lacking charging infrastructure is a huge market not in the least addressed here as well.

I see a lot of really cool boats on here, but I never see them in freshwater where I am. Do you ever encounter them in the wild down in FL?

12k is not a realistic price point for this vehicle. You can get a tracker all welded aluminum hull with a 40 hp motor for 15k. With the trailer! Veer need to do an economic analysis and realize they are about 4000 dollars over what they should actually charge for this boat. They would sell way more of them and make much more money in the long run.

This boat could also serve as a yacht tender. For those of us who are tired of maintaining leaky tubes on RIB dinghies! This looks rugged, stylish and so adaptable. A perfect option for the ship to shore market? And the electric power option is the future! Kudos to Veer and thanks Aliex! #thegreenboater

Only downside is the price. It's nice, but I got a 16 foot boat with a 25 hp for 9.5k brand new. The market needs to get more reasonable. I'm not knocking them, I think they're super neat and are gonna get some people to try them instead of kayaks, but one of the reasons for a plastic boat is it's inexpensive, or at least should be.

Found the answer. It does come with a galvanized trailer and Merc 9.9 for $12k. That’s pretty sweet. Thanks for sharing this. Now the question is do I have room for another boat?

That’s what I was hoping for. The only dealer in this area so far is on Merrit Island near Cape Canaveral. Veer launched Jan 4th this year but they are owned by Brunswick Corp. Brunswick owns Boston Whaler, Lund, Sea Ray, Bayliner, Harris Pontoons, Princecraft and Quicksilver along with Lowrance, Simrad, Atwood and more. Veer is built by Lund which has been around for 75 years. Usually I steer clear of the small boat start-ups because they go bust in a couple of years but Veer seems to have all the right backing to succeed. Just depends on whether there is enough market or if they expand their line up. I’d love to see if this can be fished by 2 adults if you get your hands on one.

Maybe because it doesn't have the base from the factory but you can install a trolling motor on anything

It needs a ten hp motor cause it is heavy as hell.

Why would anyone that is not insane pay thousands extra for electric to lose 7mph and half the range as gas.

nah, look at the milha lite skiff.

Get a paddleski and a 6hp, and go faster, safer, less gas then throw it in your trunk... $3500

@@AliexFolgueirayou can get an all welded aluminum hulled 2024 tracker classic XL with trailer, speedometer dash, trolling motor, hydraulic steering wheel, sound system, live well, 3 seats and a MERCURY 50 HP motor all for $17, 800. That even includes shipping to region costs. If I worked at veer I would do everything in my power to separate this boat from that one in the price bracket. This boat should not be more than $10,000 at the max when you consider just how much more boat you get for the money with the tracker. They would sell 5 times as many of these and would make significantly more money in the long run if this boat only costed $9000. That’s what this boat is actually worth. The boat is very nice, but pricing it against other boats that are significantly superior for very similar amounts of money is not a very good business model.

For that price I rather buy a used real boat.!!

One year later - did it change anything? No. It's too expensive. The end.

Not impressed with this thing at all, space is utilized horribly and so overpriced. I’d just get a polycraft instead and save $5K
