I had to opportunity to hold a harpy on my shoulder once...huge majestic beautiful bird...who kept nibbling on my hair and stole my glasses as a toy. Very intelligent and just awe inspiring. And yes I had a shoulder pad and gloves. And it still drew a little blood. Animal illustration class was awesome.

Some need to be relocated to Cambodia, India, and other Longtail and Pigtail infested countries. They'd have to be protected with the STRICTEST of laws, especially in corrupt Cambodia, where poaching is just a way of life for a great many citizens. I suggest this: 1. Trap one, but get caught with no harm to the bird, and it can be released back into the wild = Life in Prison. 2. Injure one by trapping or any other way, but it lives and can be released back into the wild = The violator loses the part(s) of the body that he/she injured on the bird + Life in Prison (once a poacher, always a poacher). 3. Kill one, whether on purpose or accidentally while trying to trap it or while committing some other felony = Death Penalty. I just wonder if that would be enough of a deterrent. 🤔

I'm happy that the beautiful birb makes it just that much harder for those primate filth stains to survive in a place where everything wants to and does eat them. I despise the vermin. They are repugnant...beneath all other forms of life is the lowly monkey. Even viruses are cuter and more beneficial to any environment they find themselves in than a tree rat ever was or will be. They do nothing but mindlessly feed their greed day in and day out. They cause environmental issues on a small to moderate level wherever they go and multiply to the extent that they become a lethal threat to their surroundings and all creatures/living things (from the large to the microscopic) contained therein. They wipe an area clean of its resources and move on without missing a beat. Do
