On the no touch screen on nds games. I noticed if you use the right analog stick, you will see a cursor move on the screen then press the r3 joystick, and it functions as touch screen function

I'm good with my rk2023 for now. I've only had it since June. I'm waiting for the next evolution of emulation handhelds that run ps2-Gamecube level better for under $100 by next Summer. You just know they're coming.

@@rithikponnanna8615 As I recall (this was thirty years ago), you loosen the screws on the back of the 3DO controller about a quarter turn, and the D-pad becomes more responsive. (Don't take it apart!)

Emulation is the way to go

I got mine yesterday performance wise, yes it beat miyoo mini plus. but the build quality not as good as MM+. For me i pick MM+ coz i used the wifi function for retroachievement, netplay and pico 8 splore, especially the stable onion os 4.2 really maximize the use of wifi. Other than that r36s is great device for such a price.

The problem with supporting clones is that they do none of the work... they don't do the research and development that actually keeps these devices improving. We've seen a tremendous amount of improvement in handheld emulation devices in the last few years, and the companies doing the actual work should be supported for their efforts.

Basically, the way I look at it is any of these devices that can play PS1 and down perfect is a deal no matter what. Being able to play an entire SNES library by itself is worth $150 to me lol i grew up buying those games for $60 a pop. The value we get from these devices is insane. I bought a Powkiddy x55 for $130 with a 256GB drive loaded with more games than I could play in 10 lifetimes. Its a great handheld with a bigger screen.

In the link you've provided is 62,87 Euro. in USD is 66.48 (Not 49usd that you mention in the title!)... MIYOO Mini plus is 49 euro! How is this device cheaper?!

I don't think it's better than RG35XX or Miyoo Mini if it has worse buttons. Those handhelds aren't only praised by their performance but by their build quality too. That's what makes them special

It runs N64 relatively well if you choose rice standalone core, some games still have some slowdown such as Crusin USA.

Not bad at all for the price. But it doed not have an hdmi output like on the rg35xx. The rg35xx with the Koriki os is a very good handheld, but the r36s has better performance.

The 353v uses a more powerful chip that can emulate games for n64, dreamcast and psp, even for the not very powerful Saturn games. on this device you can play at maximum not powerful n64 games. Also this device don't have a touch screen for ds games and can boot only linux

The colors looked washed out.. maybe thats just the way the camera is picking up the screen but they look off on all the games.

I bought a miyoo mini + for 40$ on tik tok. Well worth it. This is interesting but with everything ive heard of this stealing and being a clone id rather spend my money elsewhere. Thats just my opinion though.

The firmware is nowhere near compared to Miyoo mini plus OnionOS. Only thing this beats is the price and those sticks, nothing else.

it also has a much better screen then the miyoo mini, the miyoo screen is really bad.

May be it is cheaper and better but I am telling you all of my friends from my experiences that it's battery becomes dead after or within one month.You can't play ps1,PSP, Nintendo 64 games perfectly.Most of the games lags,hangs.Graphics of all games so bad that you will not wish to see them,leave the wish of play.This happened with me.I can't say other users experiences.

You just saw a video of a $49 console that’s more affordable and more powerful than the Miyoo Mini Plu and you’re still doubting it? It’s true today, but not forever. It’s not like the MM+ had those systems when they came out. Someone had to build them. The same thing will happen with the R36s. Those same developer who made Garlic and Onion will realize the R36s is already faster and cheaper than the Mm+, so they’ll bring the operative system with them, making it even better than the Mm+ could ever become (based on hardware since you can see the Mm+ has less cpu speed and ram)

Note, in my above comment. Just because a console is more powerful and cheaper, it doesn’t mean it will become popular/supported. Look at the Dreamcast, Atari Jaguar, Sega CD, Neo Geo (the console, not the arcade. It was expensive and powerful!!). The PlayStation 1 was weaker than the N64, the PS1 was more popular though. The Xbox was more powerful than the PS2. The wii was…well, definitely the most popular weakest console of its generation. Outselling the PS3

Tbqh, this is not even in the ballpark of those cause while it may be more powerful, it still a clone of multiple already existing devices (specifically the RG353V/VS and Powkiddy). Plus the Miyoo Mini+ and 35xx both are aiming for markets that craving small devices that can play a solid amount of games in a very small factor (think pocketable and seemless), which thanks to Onion and Garlic OS, have been easily getting better and better thanks to community support and optimizations. I don't expect this to flop, but if this is to be really comparable to anything: price wise, yeah go nut with the miyoo and the 35xx, but performance and features wise, you have to look up a teir at the 353v/vs/m, RGB30, and their offerings as this devices is way more comparable to these

r36s has the same spec as r35s with worst ram..

Mhm, i don't get what's the "new" or exciting about this thing. Isn't it one more clone of these RK3326-Devixes, like a RGB20S from Powkiddy? With rotated buttons? Why should anything be different to these other clones from clones?

The consoles of Miyoo Mini Plus are more than enough for me and I prefer the design and size. That said, R36S indeed appears to be the more powerful, better vfm handheld!
