This 3500 sq. ft., three-story house is tucked away in a quaint Bengaluru neighborhood and is a home where traditional art serves as a perfect conversation starter. The house is beautifully adorned with vintage arts and crafts, celebrating sustainability. The art envelops the stories of its residents, featuring Chettinad doors, Athangudi tiles, a serene Guruvayur painting of Ganesha, and Chennapatnam toys that add warmth to this cozy abode where a couple enjoys their retirement.
This film takes you inside Kaivinai, where "kai" means ‘hand’ and "vinai" means ‘crafted’ (handcrafted). The architect explains the art of sustainability in Kaivinai, a place that reflects the client's love for art and tradition, seamlessly integrated into the walls and niches of the space.
