I bought it just waiting for it to arrive I have the mic the headphones the monitors. Why not get the interface, ?

Actually, it’s been around from years- they are in partnership with Merging, and it’s mostly a rebranded version of the Merging Anubis. We got ours a couple years ago from Merging. It’s the best sounding ADA interface available, and the headphone amps are incredible. The use of Ravenna / AES67 is essential for studio flexibility. We also have Focusrite RedNet (DANTE capable) and UA systems here, but they don’t come close to the Anubis, HAPI and related Merging/Neumann gear. VERY AUDIBLY DIFFERENT AND BETTER. We still only purchase the Merging versions because they have higher-end capabilities in their DSD and SPS enabled versions of Neumann/Merging products. However, the USB-C interface added is nice to have for many. Like I said, we use the much higher throughput, more flexible Ravenna I/O interface instead.

It's a beauty but man its expensive. Could be worth it if you do lots of live recording that requires high fidelity. I honestly think the biggest problem in home recording is not getting to line level before anything else. Most interfaces say they are high Z inputs but aren't really. Radial makes some great DI boxes for about $300 so if you are already invested and have decent preamp and converters the main dif would be about 27 db of headroom but if you really need more than 109db of dynamic range you are doing some arcane audio research or you need to work on your technique lol. Still though, it is beautiful lol, I wouldn;t say no if they gave me one hehe

I agree, vocalist and instrumentalist both would benefit with the power this interface has to offer, and with the large amount of headroom and capability it leaves room for improvement and upgrades so it's a great investment in the long run and i would dare to say it could last a lifetime! For people that require DSP ready interface it is also a plus, say you do podcast, livestreams and such, having audio ready to go without extra processing power on your machine is a huge plus

They did not come up with anything fundamentally new , this is the rebranding of the company merging anubis . What is now issued as something new . Oh Neumann pfffff 😂😂😂😂
