I loved Days, but KNB has such a special place in my heart, one of my all time favorite anime period. It got me into sports anime but man, these openings are hype. I really hope you watch the anime and enjoy it. Also, Kuroko has the same VA as Giorno.

No the blonde is not his girl. She's way too old for him. But anyway all the people with colored hair (except the red head) used to be on the same team in middle school (which is what op 6 was showing). Then when highschool hit (the rest of the ops) they all went to different schools.

Kuroko came out on 2012 so the animation on the first season is not that great but it gets better and better on season 2 and season 3, and then the movie came out Last Game and it was insane. The creator helped Haikyuu a lot so it’s understandable it gives you those vibes, in my case its the opposite since Kuroko came out first and i watched it first lol. when i watch haikyuu I just get Kuroko flashbacks and i had to watch it afterwards. Kuroko’s plot for me its actually much deeper than other sports anime i’ve watched including Haikyuu, the whole concept of the colors and abilities its so freaking cool to me and unique, including Kuroko’s whole philosophy within the game, he’s definitely the most unique main character for me. It’s just so well thought and when i tell you it gets you hype its for real, no other anime had get me so hype i couldn’t stay still while watching it. It’s pure excitement and entertainment throughout the 3 seasons and the Movie. Please react to it! and give it a chance, its that good.

This anime is what got me into basketball back in the day. It was still season one that was still airing back then. This is in my top 5 sports anime.

GRANRODEO's music is the perfect go-to in order to feel hyped throughout the day, LOVE their Kuroko no Basket and Bungou Stray Dogs openings. 🔥🔥🔥

Ace of Diamond or Dia no Ace is a must watch if you are looking for a good and underrated sports anime

Kuroko no Basket is essentially an over-the-top basketball anime. The main characters and villains have their own special kind of “super powers,” which most of them couldn’t be possible in real life of course. Like, one’s presence is “invisible”, one has the “Sharingan” of basketball. And there’s also like a “super saiyan” state that’s overly romanticized. Like I said, it’s over the top. But there are still some aspects that stay true and are realistic to actual basketball settings. Overall, I’d give this a try if you look past all of that!

Idk about all of that, if you play basketball there is a “zone” that players enter when everything seems “slow” I’m biased towards Akashi because he’s my favorite player from the GoM but to a point it’s possible, look at players like Curry, Kyrie etc with good handles. About Kise I can say the best comparison we have is something like Kobe to Jordan. But like you said nonetheless the anime is really worth watching

its definitely over the top as far as basketball is concerned, but as far as being an anime, i mean i never really attest to having to "get past" the over the topness of most animes cuz chances are if u watch anime, then more than half of all the anime you've watched is over the top cuz anime is well..over the top, anime is the king of make believe out of this world concepts and this one just happens to use basketball as a medium, no different for me. i cant attest for how much i would actually enjoy a different kuorko no basket because if it was different well in that universe i wouldnt know any different lmao buut id like to think im actually glad kuroko no basket was the way it is cuz i enjoyed that theres nothing like it

The anime basically revolves around the "colored" hair, they were the strongest team in middle school, the story starts when they going separete way into high school, and basically face one another with their own different team right now

You MUST watch it This is absolute 🔥

There is also a show that is like literally Space Jam the anime called: Buzzer Beater . I think its from the same dude that made Slam Dunk.

This show’s really good, i think the best thing that sports anime do is make you care about a group of like 5-7 characters and give them all their little moments to shine and it feels like everyone contributes

The colour of their hair is in their names too. Midori in Midorima is green etc... It's how I learned colours in Japanese as a kid lol

i've been telling you since jojo part 1 to watch this anime

I recommend reacting to the opening for Da Wang Rao Ming. It is by far the most well-animated Opening of 2021 and it only came out a few day after the Stone Ocean Opening was uploaded on KZread. The official upload is on a channel called Vanguard Sound Studio [they are the guys who did the music for the series this OP is from] so make sure to find their upload.

All the coloured hair guys were all on the same team called teiko in middle school. Once all friends and we’re known as the generation of miracles. When high school came about they split hence them now being in different teams. Also the pink hair chick is kurokos girl lol

Just to clarify, there are no super powers in this anime, i know it looks like it but no, they all are normal humans, well at least as normal as super genius basketball players can be, all those lights are just visual representations for us.

I watched and love both Kuroko No Basket and Haikyuu but I hate how some of the fans of each hate against each other like some haikyuu fans hate KnB probably because it isn't realistic like haikyuu and KnB fans hate haikyuu for some reason I have yet to find out.

I dont hate Haikyuu but the fans can annoy me sometimes. Particularly because some have a weird unnecessary hate for Kuroko and its just toxic. That doesnt play a part in my enjoyment of the show tho. I think its good. I like Kuroko more but thats the sort of vibe i usually like more anyways. Battle-shonen type stuff

i love haikyuu but loath the fandom cuz you will find them in every kuroko post comparing and hating this anime.

Just so you know the guy you keep calling a menace and black at the beginning, Daiki Aomine, is a tanned Asian. They do have the occasional black character but it's not often.

those strange powers u seen in the openings, yes they show them in the anime as well. For sure u should watch it.

You gotta watch the first episode and you will be hooked

For sport anime and not martial art lie Baki , Hajime no ippo , Strongest discipline kenichi with where sooo amazing 😍 . But for just games for me win Haikyuu , Prince of tennis and Kuroko no basket . Liked even eyeshield 21 but watched it like 2 time long serie but stopped in like 3/4 of story everytime or on end. 1st time it didnt continued in my language when i was young and now i still remember everythign what happened but kinda lazy search where i stopped it

The show is definitely very good. I recommend checking out Ping Pong the Animation too. My top 5 anime overall and my favorite sports anime

Sorry I arrive late but I wanted to tell kuroko no basuke is fire! I strongly recommend it to you! Also another sport anime you'll most likely love will be eyeshield 21: it's an anime about american football (in japanese high schools as usual)
