For anyone confused The film is a original take / mish mash of what we love from Dragon Ball. Goku's whole ghost rider thing was actually him turning into Son Wukong (Who Goku is based off of hence the monkey look) Vegeta knew the Kamehameha cuz in the actual Son Wukong story... He could share powers and techniques by touching wrists. (Peep how before the final blast Vegeta got Super Saiyan back and instantly knew to use Goku's move) Lastly peep the audience... Saitama... Akuma... Akira Toriyama and a few others make a cameo.

I know this fan made short took 4 years to make this. But this is really mind blowing! A good combination of martial arts choreography of Dragon Ball and power ups/transformations from DBZ. It deserves to have it’s own series. Mainly I wanna see more of Goku’s Sun Wukong transformation, as well as Chichi as an actual martial artist, and the war against Frieza’s empire. Can we all agree on this?

Goku’s fire transformation is very close to who Goku is based off of which is Son Wukong (from the book Journey to the West) in fact Goku’s name is the Japanese name for Son Wukong.

Gokus transformation is based off his original story by Akira-San, Sun Wukong Son Goku. The whole DB was inspired by Journey to the west.

The character of Goku is based off the Monkey King Sun Wukong from the story Journey to the West. In this fan made film his new form looks like Sun Wukong. And the reason why Vegeta was able to do the Kamehameha is because in the story Journey to the West Sun Wukong is able to share his knowledge & powers with others hence why Vegeta got his powers back & was able to do that move.

They give back the ref to the Chinese novel "Journey to the West" with the "Saviour from heaven" Son Goku the Monkey King (Sun Wukong his original name in chinese). That why goku looks like a monkey here. And he can share his power that why they cross their arm Vegeta/Goku. They represent the saiyans with more animosity in their character and their way of fighting. And they use the 90' animation's style for their video.
