When Mrs. Padma and her husband, Prakash mulled the idea of a new street food enterprise in the throes of the pandemic to stay afloat, they thought it would be unique to introduce the pizza but in a flavourful avatar that would resonate the punchy flavours that people expect in street fare. And thus was born Amma’s Italian Pizza, first on a cart and now a van. Padma Amma experimented with vegetarian topping combinations for days on end at her home, also sharpening her secret recipe for a piquant pizza sauce, a sprightly medley of herbs, spices, sour, sweet and heat. From a spiced-up Margherita to a Karnataka pizza that basically incorporates almost every ingredient she has available, Amma’s pizzas are slowly but surely gaining favour with the locals of Koramangala, South Bengaluru for her hygienic approach to using fresh quality ingredients and creating flavours of the sort that appeal to most mainstream palates. The name may say ‘Italian’, but these are the sort of pizzas that resonate the ‘kadak’, street vibes of namma ooru, Bengaluru.

I remember this couple's 99 variety dosa cart. It was a real crowd puller in Koramangala. They really turned the place into a food street with a lot of other vendors coming in. Suddenly they all disappeared. Happy to see that they are back.

Yes these PPL were the first to bring the concept and start 99varities of dosa in the same place almost 15 years back...i remember there youngest daughter going to school...they tried to manage till there daughter was in 2 nd puc... suddenly these people vanished...and i was missing there dosas. Thank you Kripal Aman sir for re introducing them. God bless them in abundance

By using a decent Food Truck instead of a typical Indian Food Cart that's too commonplace, and also having a oven on board, I believe, this business will go a long long way from here. What intrigued me : The use of scrapper or Plata to cut pizza into 6 slices. No use of pizza cutter. I liked male owner in depth understanding of locals palate. He knows the trade well with spices being the base of sauce to suit the taste buds. Toppings are kept in open without 1-5c storage to maintain freshness and shelf life, credit goes to the Bengaluru weather conditions. This model isn't conducive to non tropical region Just a recommendation for Amma. The cheese should be spread after the sauce in 50:50 ratio then put toppings on top with remaining 50 % cheese to give a cheesy bite in every layer I would call Amma's magic is surreal, very hearty. Pride entrepreneur, the shine and smile on her face is proof that this establishment is hugely popular in Namma Bengaluru. If I happen to visit this joint, I would go especially for the passion in which Amma is preparing pizza. With garlic bread topping of cheese isn't required if you ordering both pizza & bread, it would be too much of cheese. Couldn't spot any types of beverage offering to settle the thrist quench after the bite of full salty and cheesey mouthfeel taste. 8/10 rating for her courage and passion ❤️🧡💛💝💖💯💥🔥🔥🔥✨✨✨ For Kripal : Is there a ⏲️ timer for baking pizza or it's just by looking the texture she pull pizza out from the oven? 50 pizzas is not very high volume per day. I'm sure after the release of video, the volume will go manifolds. Did you inform them about this ripple effect that soon they're going to face ? They need to be prepare well in advance. Since Pizza by nature is home delivery business How about tZomato & swiggy tie up ?

Sir I watch your videos regularly and being a food entrepreneur from Pune I'm really motivated by these vendors who put in soo much effort and dedication. I have one suggestion for Amma, it's unique that she adds real butter to her pizzas, if she can substitute that with ghee, her pizzas will on a different level all together. It's just a suggestion.
