there wasn't one. her last song was closest to being a fav, it still had it's moments. time and lots of practice and she'll make it

Her issue wasnt the coach. Her issue was herself. She is PHENOMENAL. SHE needed to believe that for herself. She did all those songs justice but what she lacked was that FEARLESSNESS that she herself spoke on. I believe she will find it. She is a stunning.

Sally has a haunting, beautiful voice. Darker song choices and she would win

How could this girl ever think she's not good enough. Her voice gives me goosebumps every time. Haunting is the right word.

Hopefully as she grows up she will have more confidence in herself I can relate to her as I struggle with self love

I love that TVG does these Journey's with Australia Voice. Australia has some serious talent. Well done!!

I think her voice works best when the songs are stripped back and the focus is on her voice, like the one she first auditioned with, and George’s first choice for her. They were absolutely exquisite.

Honestly her first audition song choice was so suited to her voice and style and originality, its a real shame that she wasn't given more haunting, darker toned songs that let her shine. Fix you was nearly there and so was life on mars. I really feel that she wasn't properly coached about her vowel choices or mixing though. Like her really drawn out, wide, chest parts are amazing throughout and her soft falsetto shown briefly in fix you was great. If she sat with a real vocal coach she would really shine. I hope she continued learning and making music after the show. Her original stuff was teased so much but never shown, I'd love to see what she can do on her own!

I’m addicted to these ‘journey’ videos. I can’t stop watching them. Great job!

Sally's voice is so cool, she has such range and her lows are awesome.

Life on Mars (a song I love) was a disastrous selection for her. What a shame she didn't have control over that, especially at that point in the competition.

I really liked her version though. Was definitely a better choice than the 2 songs before.

Her best performance was by far the first one before the coaches tried to change who she was 🫢

Tbh that's often the case because they have weeks/months to pick a song & practice for the Blind Auditions, but the following performances, despite the coaching, are rushed with only days to practice and not a lot of time to change the song if the coach realises it isnt suitable.

Im so Glad Sally went with Joe and he delivered and didnt give up on her!

I can't wait to buy Sally's album 🎉❤

It's like they took a work of art and mangled it. Please don't take their bad choices as a your future. They chose badly for you. You do you with that haunting crystal clear notes and we the people will support that.

Absolutely love Sally’s voice, journey, I agree that the song choices don’t necessarily test Sally AND show her strengths. I miss the sound and feeling from her first performance.

The wrong songs were picked for sally , think the world of you Joe but this goes for all judges you should pick songs for the singers voice and push her or him past their comfort zone with that . Sally's voice is haunting and beautiful . I hope and pray she comes back , and I hope there will be an album sometime soon .. She did go further with Joe I have to give him that ! 👍❤ I absolutely love this girls voice !!!!

Her parents are very cool, so loving and supportive! 😍 🌿 🙆🏻‍♀️ Sally is a very talented young lady with an incredible voice, and guitar style. ❤️

I really think that sally has that soothing voice would match with a billie eilish song "Ocean Eyes" now that would've been a performance

Sally's a very good singer. I agree that the song choices for her, left a lot to be desired beyond the battles. I also understand that not all songs are available for use in each season. However better choices can and should be made towards the singer's strengths or style once they make the live shows. Let the public make the decisions, if they like the singer's style let them choose! The coaches are there to help make the singer's better, not change them to fit the cookie cutter.

Agreed. But this song is special to me as it was one of the songs that got me through my mother’s battle with ALS.

I love the way Joe Jonas doesn't take responsibility for the fact that he has not picked songs that are in her wheelhouse. He was supposed to make use of that AMAYzing instrument she has, instead it was about some kind of vocal bootcamp. Why did he push a song she obviously wasn't comfortable with? Boo on you Mr. Jonas. You coached a star very badly

the one thing that remains a problem..the choice of songs ..A LOT of them do not bring out the best in the singer. and they fail not due to there singing talens but down to the total rubbish songs there told to sing. ( judges get your act together )

Perhaps one day they will come together for some duet performances &/or recordings. Their voices do blend together, quite beautifully.

I wanted to throw something at Kelly when she passed this force the first time. Her voice is hauntingly beautiful, but, I didn't like the Beatles much when I first heard them. I still think Sally is a winner and I hope she continues to reach out and continue to amaze. I'll buy what she produces.

Anyone on the show is obviously talented. But I think if she’d gone with Kelly the second time she would’ve won. But I understand the reluctancy. But she went back to the show kinda doing what most people do. The first time she was so unique.

When I hear her voice it reminds me Celia Pavey/Vera Blue. Very Similar voices. The song where her verse sounded similar is her knockout song will you love me tomorrow.

She picked the wrong coach. She achieved in site of that. He consistently put obstacles in her way by picking the wrong songs for her. She never got to really show her talent, she spent too much time navigating the vocal barriers in her way.

I kind of agree he wanted to challenge her to show her vocal skills. Which can be challenging. She has an amazing vocal range. I’m a singer and it wasn’t till I got to 20 that I found my confidence in singing which helped find my vocal range. Joe is doing the right thing his also been in the business since he was a teenager.

A bit harsh. Joe knows the business and was aware of the areas she needed to expand. She was given every opportunity to shine. She is still young and void of life experiences that will mature her and that special voice.

They are all just one girl.

I always come back to listen to her "Wolves" cover. She is miles ahead of the original singer and I greatly enjoy it. Singing in the spotlight is hard. Although while in the competition I would minimize looking at online comments as haters are going to hate.

Now, now, George and Kelly, play nice. Sally is amazing. Always believe in yourself. your there not them, like Joe said they aren't on the show you are.

Sally almost hits the note but doesn't quite get it then sings up to it. She drags it out. A good vocal teacher could help her fix that.

Do u know how many songs there are that could of complimented her voice and she would have been unstoppable. That judge failed her. How horrible for her after making it right to the end. Thats so sad 😔. Well she is absolutely amazing and Is a winner to me. 🥇 🌟 ♥

A lesson for those finding it hard to hit those high notes: aim higher, above the note. It works! And open the diaphragm...hitting high notes through your nose/head voice tends to sound on the squeaky side.

Loved 'The Chain' her voice is hauntinly beautiful but the the 3 singing with her as back-up - I would pay to hear that - they should be a group together. Equally good in 'Fix You'.

She looks like Hailee Steinfeld. One of the members of The Barden Bellas. Nice Voice too.

Not surprised she got eliminated on Life on Mars. I love her and her voice, but a bad song choice by her coach sent her home. Such a shame. My favorite performance was Spectrum, Sally’s voice is perfectly suited to that kind of darker song.

The thing i find with some groups is they cover for each other. They didn't sing individually.

Sounds like she is trying to be 4 seasons in one day. Sometimes less flexing is better

I don't like how they eliminate artists in AU. Pick 1 from 4 over 1 song.

She should have picked delta. Delta plays to strengths and helps build voices. Joe just pushes to hard you have to play to strengths in a competition

So glad she didn't go with Kelly or George. They are my least favs as I don't trust anything they say. Wish she would have went with Delta because I love seeing her but Joe is cool too. I thought she killed it with Life on Mars really.

its little bit sad she got a coach who picks the wrong songs ,, she got a beautifulll voice , but the songs dont show her strenght ,, sad but its not first time i see a coach who not should be in the voice ,,they dont have what it takes to help 3 singers at the same time , they only have eyes for one of them ,,and thats a big problem ,,

One Evanescence song will shut those bullies up! her voice is really good, sounded like Amy Lee. Wrong choices of songs, unfortunately.

Sally's last 2 songs were terrible choices for her. Too bad.

​@@OluchiOkorie-yg6tlI don't think so. She went to the semi-finals, ain't no way they're letting any artist come back when they went this far. Plus, it wouldn't be a great choice for her. She came back, but the songs picked for her weren't good, it didn't showcase her voice correctly. She should work with a vocal coach, to help her with her voice, but also with connection. Everyone was telling her to connect, but they didn't give her tips on how to work on that. A vocal coach can help bring the better out of her, so she can become an amazing artist.

I feel like Joe tried changing her voice to fit something more popular rather than playing with her gorgeous moody tonal qualities. I agree with pushing artists into different genres, but not trying to completely change the artist’s voice.

“I miss you” was the wrong song choice for Sally :(

The coaches really are the ones who make the biggest blunders with there song choices , everybody has a lane and you find that lane and go with it , Joe has been all over the place and I think that is a travesty, I really think that in the semi and finals that the singer should get there choice of song. Or at least begiven 3 songs of choice and for them to pick one .

Why would he give her a Bowie song? That is so not her.

Who the hell chose life on mars for this girl? Macho nonsense. Jonas bros. You seriously didn't recognise this girl's gift. Ugh.

Sally has a fantastic gift - no doubt! BUT I could see and detect in her performances some of the nonconnection problems she was having. At this level you either have the necessary soul and experiences to connect or you don't. There is no faking or fooling the audiences when you sing. She will certainly become some level of a professional singer and maybe enjoy some stardom! Her gifted voice will take her very far just by itself! Take care and good luck! Note: If you want to see a young lady take on the same challenge and win then Google Louisa Johnson and listen to her sing each and every song!

The fact the contestant has no say in what they preform is ripe for rigging by the Voice to pick the winner instead of the voters!

John can sing no doubt but i couldn't listen to John for an album. Camis' voice i could listen too on and on.
