Between me and the machine, The dark pool and Freaks are the holy trinity of metalcore debut albums

This is in the vein of Invent Animate (album) and Thornhill's The Dark Pool in terms of blasting out into the genre with something so polished. (maybe Dayseeker's What it Means to be Defeated) It's a very focused sound already. I hope they catch on and breakthrough. Gotta get some merch to show support.

I was gonna say, I don’t think I’ve heard a brand new band bust into the scene with something this good since Invent Animate - Everchanger, which is still one of my all time favorite albums. That Dayseeker debut is a good shout too. And to see where those bands have gone is a good sign for Avralize, I’m genuinely excited to see what they do next, even if they just put out their debut album a few days ago 😅

Insane how a new band can come out of nowhere and release such a banger debut

This album is a gift that keeps on giving. I literally just finished it before checking this video. It reminded me a litle bit of La trilogie by Frontières since the first song, and I was instantly hooked. And when that saxophone in canvas appeared, I fucking screamed.

ive had this album on repeat since it dropped and the singles on repeat since u did your first avralize reaction thanks for puting us onto them, they so good/unique

Been waiting for this reaction!

More than anything the production is shocking, feels like they went so many different routes in 8 songs and all the mixing and transitions were perfect. Definitely a band to be excited about moving forward, AOTY contender on their first release.

Now i've realized what this band reminds me of. Avralize are very much like late Novelists (when Tobias was on vocals), but just a way better version of this. This is what Novelists could've sounded like now by logic. Very very good overall.

Ditching their original style and getting Tobias turned novelists into such a shit band imo. Went from my favorite band ever to being absolutely forgettable.

​@@Smittz I listen to Novelists since 2015 and i'm not a fan of their late stuff with Tobias, however Avralize sound really good with that style. Novelists are one of my favourite bands ever and i actually like their current direction with the new vocalist, she has a really beautiful voice and despite i'm not a big fan of their current style, this may turn out into something really amazing, i think. There is always a room to grow. Basically it sounds like continuation of "5:12 am" in a different shape, if it makes sense.

dude, so glad you enjoyed these guys, Bogdan. they rip so hard, and just like you said, they just came outta nowhere. i just love how much variety and detail there is in each song, but it stays so cohesive. they really blew me away

This really is album of the year and it isn't close. Shades of what Polaris did with their latest record

I had almost exactly the same reaction to Canvas. I literally yelled "WHAT". 10/10 song.

If I‘m not wrong, they are called „Auralize“ but written as „Avralize“. So I looked it up and it totally makes sense: „To model acoustic phenomena in a virtual environment; to engage in auralization. To form a mental representation of what something sounds like. Synonym: audialize“

I was getting a vibe of AVOID from this album BEFORE the saxophone. After the saxophone I felt vindicated

Pressed the start button with absolutely zero expectations...and finished this album blown away....one of the best surprise albums this year Also if you're interested in this kind of stuff....accvsed is an absolute underrated band ... Very huge similarity between them

I'm genuinely saddened that they've dropped from 115 000 monthly listeners to under 75 000. Like bro, y'all gotta start dropping more songs, y'all have shown a beautiful beginning in the metalcore genre!! But the worst outcome is that if they're just a one-time miracle.
