    One big thing I've learned with Fade that really changed my game, and you mentioned it, is to be patient with my util. Throwing early lineup Haunts is really not that useful, especially on defense and better to save for their push onto site to counter them. Just by being more patient with my utility and watching my map to make sure teammates can do something about my util has helped me win so many more games

    From the first video ive watched of yours i by now already put in a fair amount of hours into fade to a point i already feel comfortable enough on her to climb in ranked from where i am now. What i really like about fade is that i always feel like i can use my abilities with purpose way more than ive had on other agents. I do still struggle with some stuff though ofcourse. Its mainly that i sometimes can feel a bit lost in what to do on some maps or when i want to switch things up i can struggle. Icebox in general is a map i find hard to use my haunt properly on and haven i find hard to switch things up on (ill have maybe one or two haunt spots i like using but then dont know what to do anymore when those spots are shot each round). Another thing is i just find my seize really hard to use. I can never find that sweet spot in getting a somewhat consistent value out of it. Ive tried using it to catch people playing aggressively at the start of the round which has worked only a handfull of times for me and other times i tend to get too aggressive using it myself and get caught mid throwing it. Ive tried using it to delay people but i then never really get anyone stuck in it either and at best buy my team a few extra seconds to rotate. I can do plenty with just my prowlers and haunt but id love to be able to properly use her ENTIRE kit because i feel like im just wasting a lot of potential with how my seize is now

  • @uscninja4190

    @uscninja4190

    Жыл бұрын

    You don't need to get full value out of the seize. You may think that catching the entire team is the full value but that is not true. If you can delay a push by few seconds it is plenty. You can clear the tight corners without someone dying then you are using the utility correctly.

  • @tsvh383

    @@uscninja4190 for me full value is using it in general. Its a part of her kit and i think its important to use it more than once every few rounds. I just feel like my seize doesnt get any value a lot of the time and id like to atleast get some more value out of it, even if it goes up to one kill per game with it thats still better than one kill every few games

  • @Alliric

    @Alliric

    Жыл бұрын

    Again as I said Haunt is a very strong utility. If you want to farm orbs its fine but I would still use my prowler if the area allows me to. If its a very big area to cover like lets say Haven A main in which you have to clear the lobby then you can use your haunt instead but if you can avoid it! Also yes orb farming is very good but you have to have teammates that can hold enemies off for a bit so you can get in position after!

    great video, you still alot of things to work on, like at 2:20 u couldve used ur prowler instead of pull, bcz pull is very useful post plant or mid entry, another reason y u suouldnt use ur pull at B main is because its most likely that enemy chamber will peek with TP and hr can just TP after getting pulled, unlikr prowler which will bite/bait enemy chamber OP or get info on their weapon while distrupting their minimap and audio cues making prowler best choice to use at that B main scenario, theres also alot of time i see you using ur utility on uncessary things, but most importqntly i learned alot of tricks from yoy, and this is a very goos video! This is kind of unrelated, but I've been playing Valorant since release and the highest rank I've reached gold. But, I was just wondering... Why does no one shift-walk at the start of every round on attack? The moment your elephant feet lookin-ass takes 1 step, you have already given information about your position to the enemy (outside of Breeze and Icebox, but 90% of the time they are not worried about making any type of noise anyways). I'm not joking, everyone from Iron - Platinum just runs it down, and duelists are right behind these idiots waiting to trade for a kill. The majority of my kills (and I'm assuming the majority of the player base) is because I hear loud ass foot steps approaching a corner, but I have already placed my cross hair in that direction before you even arrive to said corner. I don't have to watch professional eSports players to understand that this whole game was designed with the intention of utility abilities to be used to clear areas of the map. I swear, low ELO is just a bunch of monkeys with AK-47s. Congratulations, you have slightly better aim than the average player. Is that really all that's required to preform well? Honestly, I'd be impressed if someone can do a New Account to Immortal with no abilities series. Do you know how much of a cancerous detriment you would be to your team? The reason why I'm ranting, is because this video stated that as a Fade player, you need to maintain some sense of leadership. As an initiator, I completely agree. However, how often are you going to be matched up with players that will check off everything in this list: 1. Purchased the correct weaponry and armor to maintain a stable team economy. 2. Does. Not. Fucking. Hold. W. All. The. Time. 3. Has capabilities of VOIP comms. 4. Has the mental capacity to be civil about online interactions. Or at least, civil, clean in-game callouts. 5. Can communicate in English (NA servers). Is there a specific play style required to preform well in low ELO? At this point, it's basically luck based. Should I take off my tactical lenses and go Rambo until I 1v9 every match? I guess that's what I had to do as a support main in LoL to hit Platinum. Kinda defeats the purpose of the game itself. Utility is already a game changer, but could you imagine if utility was used in conjunction with your teammate's utility/their ability to capitalize on your utility to push and clear areas for map control? TL;DR - idk why I thought this video would help. Nothing is wrong with the content itself, but it just won't apply to anyone below a certain ELO. For anyone Platinum and below, riddle me this: How often in every 10 competitive matches you play, do you communicate effectively with your team for at least 6 rounds (or at least half the match) consecutively? I'll answer for you. At BEST? 3/10. Most likely, 1/10.

    Hello magno, thanks for the big response and I will be happy to reply to you. I will start off by saying that Fade is a very very very HARD character to play on lower elo. It's either you master her or you are trash. Not only see requires perfect utility contribution, but also she requires some degree of teamwork and teammates playing around your utility. That's SPECIFICALLY why I said you HAVE to have in game leading in order to achieve good games with her. Getting on your Number 3,4 points now, you DON'T need your team to have comms, you need YOURSELF to give them. If they hear you well, if not you change your playstyle. If you tell them something you don't care for the answer. Most of the times allies won't care about you until you make yourself noticed through voice. But since on lower elo most of the times allies won't care about you is the reason I mention a lot of times, especially on my coaching sessions, that Fade is NOT IDEAL FOR LOWER ELO. Its must better to play skye or kayo if you want to go initiator that they can play more for themselves. Now why would this video help. The purpose of this video is not for short term results, but for long term ones. A lot of players enjoy playing Fade but considering the lower elo teammates they end up learning Fade wrong. That is fatal for them as they rank up. It's crucial to build good habbits so when you reach a higher division to be able to adapt much faster. If you try to learn solo play fade (Especially on attack, on defense you play solo either way unless it's retake) not only will your ranking up will be very slow, but when you reach a higher rank you won't be able to adapt to the role's necessities. Even on immortal at least half of the games the initiator has no idea what their role is and this is very punishing the second the enemies get aware of it. This videos purpose is for the long run. Practice the idea of how Fade SHOULD be played, and then you can change your playstyle considering the enviroment of each lobby. Even on silver you can make people hear your calls. But even on immortal you will find people that won't cooperate. And that's the struggle of solo play, that you have to adapt to each lobby analysing not only the enemies but your allies too. That means join a lobby and give a pass to your allies at last 3-4 rounds with very pushing comms on what you want them to do. Like be extra extra annoying. If you see that there is 0 change they will hear you then try to play for yourself. But the mistake many do is the join a lobby and start playing for themselves before they even give a chance to their teammates to play together. For me its best to not touch initiators (unless you go for skye/kayo) until you reach around high plat, and then pick whatever you like and try to master them patiently. And if you decide that you want to play Fade from early on, stick to basics to master them and then adapt to each situation. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO BUILD THE RIGHT BASICS EARLY ON BECAUSE THEN IT'S GOING TO TAKE 10 TIMES MORE TIME TO LE-LEARN IT. Now I will redirect you to another vid of mine that I had 2 AFKS and 1 troll on my team in which I explain what is my route on these kind of games: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hpOrxpaAg9SZnMY.html Let me know if you have any questions.
