I would very much like to see this integrated with BlishHUD before Nexus launcher. Not because I have anything against Vortex but simply because most players look for such gameplay functions and add-ons within Blish first for GW2.

@@The92Ghost Raidcore Nexus has nothing to do with Nexusmods, it was an unfortunate naming situation, as I didn't know of Nexusmods before. I will probably end up renaming it because of this. Regardless of that, you will never see this type of addon inside Blish, as it reads game memory.

You guys must have been reading my mind, I was mentally grumbling this past week that a huge barrier for me is how small and hard to keep track of boon icons are. Yeah, yeah getting old I know. But it really impacts my game play now that I am trying harder content. Looking forward to see what’s next!

Ideally, would rather ANET actually implemented this directly and officially 'cause I foresee this becoming "mandatory" like it happened in WOW. Baffles me how this is not a standard function in GW2.

I agree with you generally, but also enabling the community to do this might be better in some scenarios. Just take Build Templates, what if we still had community templates, that are actively maintained and added to. Anything that enters ArenaNet realm is not getting as much love as it could, as it's corporate-driven and has to generate money. It's unfortunate, but also the current status quo with addons seems like an ideal solution for both ArenaNet and the players.

This is super useful for weaver but am afraid on adding it because it clearly will make me play better. They can't really afford a total UI overhaul but I wish they do implement something like this.

The biggest draw this has for me is that I might actually be able to track my Jade Mech's Mechanical Genius range with an icon I can actually see in combat.

This is huge, I looked into clarity not too long ago and it seemed like a nightmare to install and wouldn’t even give me half the information I’d want an addon like this for in the first place. This one ticks all the boxes and I can just grab through Nexus. Good stuff.

One of the main selling points of ESO for me was addons support, that's why I played that game for many years. It's just humiliating that 12 years after release people still have to manipulate memory and create overlays to deal with GW2 interface.

Worth just for the custom Teapot icon yelling at you 😂

Since this is still technically going against Anet ToS, think I'll wait until Anet approves this first. Don't want any of my accounts getting banned for something stupid.

Arcdps is way more "invasive" than this and It worked for years now.. they both read available data, however arc does math with it and show It in a way that non human could posible calculate.. this only moves and resize and icon

@@fernaxv Arc doesn't manipulate the memory either since GW2 has a built dps meter already. I get what's being said but it also has to read what the icon is for. Not saying it will manipulate memory but, I'm not taking a chance with it. Just like many today still fear both TaCO and Blish

I want them to start supporting more harmless QoL add-ons/mods. Mods I personally want badly are ones that change weapon sound effects since they refuse to get rid of loud annoying ones themselves.

instant download. i've been wanting something like this for AGES. i only play wvw and having to stare at my buffs for 3 sec just to see if i have stab and resist is infuriating and gets me killed edit DUDE just learned that it can't work in pvp or wvw. i'm devastated

It can, they just disabled that to be safe from bans. You can fork the code and enable it yourself.

This is of course good addon, but this one seems a little far to use. I would rather wait for anet to actively approve this

ArenaNet will never comment on this. However if they do and ban, it will dissappear quickly.

Unlikely. Works differently. Blish standalone program on top, nexus integrates with game.

I want to get this just for monitoring food and utility buff... it always wears off and i don't notice... i need something to say 'eat knucklehead'

This does not work in WvW for some reason. I tried to setup a Stability icon, it works perfectly well in any PvE maps when I use my stab, however as soon as I enter any WvW map it does not work anymore. I put the settings to ANY maps, then I changed and put each of the 4 IDs of the WvW maps, then I changed and put the category WvW. Nothing worked. I even put the 3 codes for stability instead of only 1. My guess is that the "ANY" option in maps filter is a list of all the maps and the WvW maps we play on are not listed

@@darensgw2 if everyone has the opportunity to have it , I am not sure it’s an advantage. Wish Arena Net would just give us this option. Large icons shouldn’t be considered a competitive advantage.

If game works, nexus should work as well. It uses same API and same window to render its stuff in it. Including future pathing API (taco markers)

ArenaNet has history of turning addons into features PLEASE ARENANET we need better UI for boons these are too important to be in random place and jumping around

This looks TOTALLY awesome, but that it doesn't work in wvw, is kind of lame. A-net should have an application like this to allow some UI customization. What is so "competitive" about trying to catch *small icons that move around* to catch buffs and debuffs so competitive?

Lack of a customisable UI, is my only real negative about the game. Also strange, considering how customisable GW1 is out of the box.

The end is near.I hate how I can open any stream in WoW and not have a clue what Im looking at since its made specifically for them (and usually a fuckfest). At least with gw2 everyone is clean and watchable. How long until 1008950 types of raid horns popping off?

That's all well and good, but the Nexus itself was breaking the game for me, after which I couldn't launch the game. For that reason, I can't use it. And also, Arenanet technical support doesn't respond to players from our country (it's on the sanctions list) if the account will be blocked for any reason.

Isn't there a basic pack some where?

Fair but sad. They will never approve this, they kinda ignore addons a lot of stuff in community.

Nexus has its problems. Being flagged as an unwanted program by Windows is just one of them. Port it out of Nexus and maybe I will use it.
