    ​@@jakemccoya lot of post secondary state athletic programs still have age requirements. I'm not sure for 8th grade, but I know my state doesn't allow anyone over 21 years of age to participate high school athletics.

    technically if ur counting hair its about 1 inch so ur 6’11 and technically if your wearing shoes thats another inch so 7 feet and technically in the morning when you wake up your spine is less compressed which adds about an inch so that’s 7’1

The genetics from your parents argument is an excuse. AAU and high schools are excepting altered or false birth certificates all over the place. It’s really unfair to the kids that are working their tails off. It’s sad.

    They do something called grade backing where they fail/repeat a grade in 6 7 or 8 grade so they are older bigger and stronger than others. They might not be but still crazy nonetheless

    Of course! We played a highschool Shelby Broadstreet back in my day, that had a freshman guard that was easily 6'5 and 2 D1 recruited all-americans 6'9 and 6'6. We also played another team Oxford Chargers and the 2 guard was 6'7 and their 5 was 6'10. Our tallest player on a good day was 6'4. We beat both teams by the way.

    6’7 will never be the average height. Taller kids are more attracted to basketball and are more likely to have came from basketball families. The average height for newer generation is nowhere near 6’7

Save the money and live off interest rest his life when done playing. Also, Iowa and Iowa state (my 2 home teams) are good schools in nice cities with friendly people and worth looking into when choosing a college.
