How much did the build cost roughly?

I've been a traffic policeman for 18 years and I can confirm that is a fully legal number plate, we see them all the time on the beat, generally we find OAPs favour these plates so they can promote their insta

That car already has the same engine as the Golf R from factory, it’s just a detuned version of it. Heck of a build and a hell of a car. Suicide machine! Love it! 😍 What are the dimensions of your wheels and tyres tho? Interested to know what you’ve put there 🤔

Refreshing to see someone leaving the dcc system in. I know alot bin it but I’m still very much a fan of it and kept it in mine. Definitely cheaper to get rid if something goes wrong but you lose the ability and convenience of the adjustability from a button rather than winding dampers down or up to stiffen them up. Just shows how well something can sit on just simple springs too! Definitely the route I’m doing on my 6r. Currently away getting the revo 2+ upgrades and timing belt. Awesome polo! Haven’t seen one with a swap before!

The stock ea888 gen3b has revised pistons and designed more with economy in mind hence the laggy throttle from its lean operating mode up to 20% throttle (miller cycle) I have a stock one nippy not fast but OK on fuel

What gets me though is how much this swap probably cost in parts and labor the over probably could have bought an mk8 golf R🙄 I mean I'm a car guy I get fixing things up and all that there comes point that the cost of what it is (a polo) versus what else you can get (Gold R)for the same money comes into play.

Highly doubt that , these are as low as 14k, a MK8 R is still over 30k that’s not 16+k worth of work

I don't think you've ever done a custom swap like this before. I don't know about where you live but unless this guy had access like his brother wrecked his car he got the motor from for free or something but just in labor alone would be over 5 grand 🙄​@@OrangeTash

Go check out mighty car mods when they tried to do an engine swap in a VW polo and how much it cost and get back to me 🙄 I've been probably doing car builds longer than you've been alive by the way 🙄 you're missing the point the point is for what this person has money-wise in this particular car with all the mods in the purchase price of the car itself he could be real close if not able to buy a gold bar for that same money. That's all I'm saying. You can build a fast Polo but it's still a Polo. If that suits you and your happy then awesome👍
