This 2017 Lexus ES350 is by far the best ride to your local country club to hit some golf balls, receive personal yoga instruction, or have drinks with your retiree friends from your hedge fun company. The Toyota 2GR FE motor can sure pack a punch when needed but if you’re the type of person that enjoys going 20 under the speed limit it will allow you to cruise smoothly at those speeds. It is a nice car! I like it. Very smooth and elegant. I will say, not as Richard, as my 20 year old self, it too slow with shifting and throttle response- doesn’t drive sporty enough for me. But that’s not what Lexus designed it for though. It was designed to take you from point A to B without knowing you had to drive!, you know, do the plebeian thing of ‘driving’ 🤣
I got this car last year and I must say, I have slept on Lexus. This is what you call real quality in my opinion.

It's a great car. Lexus does a great job with sound dampening. Very quiet n comfortable driving car. I'm averaging about 28 mpg. I change oil n filter about twice a year. The infotainment system isn't great, but it's not terrible

They absolutely do! Super quiet. It doesn’t feel like your driving. I am young (not 61 LOL), so I am still liking sporty cars, not ready to drive to the country club just yet. Each time I drive this it just absolutely amazes me! We see very similar fuel economy. City is mid to low 20’s depending driver attitude and blood pressure. Highway max I have seen is 32, l average about the same as you. Toyota has used the 2GR-FE engine for years now so it’s tried and true very thankful our cars have it. First car I have done an oil change that had a cartridge style filter, I don’t mind it… just different. We don’t drive it so it doesn’t get enough use! I agree with the entertainment system. I have issues with the mouse (if that’s what you want to even call it), it was a large learning curve!
