i love this game. gotta take advantage of those dirty tricks. they reset every half and you get 2 plus a ref bribe on each side of the ball. also you gotta focus on kills of certain positional groups specifically wide recievers and qbs. if all 3 opponents qbs die you win no matter what the score is, same if all 5 wrs go. it doesnt work as well on rbs because you can just not call run plays when all rbs are dead so focus kill shots on qbs and wrs

@@pohorex6834 This is exactly what I do. Toughness always gets bumped first. Initial trades/signings on defense. A solid defense can carry you so far in this game. @Nick Jindra I find if you can score a lot and kick like 10 yard kicks you can quickly dispatch of their offensive line. Really cheap/dirty way to win games.

What's more painful, death or watching how bad I am at this videogame?

Some quick tips. The skeletons heal damage at the end of every turn. Though they are the most fragile. They make good running backs and substitutes because your players will most likely die. The robots and ogre guys are the best for lines off and deff. The demons are good safety and receivers because of their height and ability to fly for a little while they jump. The aliens imo have the best acceleration when they start to run. Rolling into a ball makes them hard to tackle. The werewolves are great blitzes. Save your dirty plays for the 2nd and 4th quarter. And the bribe ref can be abused. After the other team catches on to bribing the ref they will try to kill the ref so he can be replaced. If you call a blitz play or any other defensive play that closes up all your players. You can try to escape with the ref before he gets killed. It will result in the opposing team getting another penalty. They will continue to do this until they kill the ref or bribe the ref themselves if they can. Hope these basic tips get to you. Love the channel

Also winning ref rampage gives you a free revive & when I play dynasty mode. I normally chose a team that has dirty plays I am good at using. Some of them are way better than the others. The downfall is your preferred team may not have dirty plays you like and you gotta make a choice. Also the metal head team players are all parodies of rock stars!

@@davidrosensin7985 not strange at all. I should do a playthrough like that using a team I don't normally use. I usually stick to like 3 or 4 teams because they have dirty tricks that I think work well. It's be nice to pick a new team and not worry about dirty plaus

@@seannborba8416 I used the Tokyo Terminators. I left on field hazards. The only thing that sucks about turning dirty tricks off is that you don't get the halftime show resurrection trick. Well, you do you just can't use it.

@@alaroche Wouldn't go that far. 😀 But it was still fun to play, especially in an era when the Madden-style of realism (at least as was possible with mid-90s console tech) was starting to become the standard. The Deion Sanders-branded game Sega released was also a good blend of arcade style and the NFL license.

That was a mistake, turning off the announcer. They can often tell you what to do. Like, say: get your quarterback out of bounds during the QB Attack. Or kill the refs chasing you in the halftime game instead of just running for a chance at a resurrection. Also, the Cardinal Sins are just terrible since they have the worst dirty tricks. That's why they feel underpowered: you have one of the worst teams for that. Don't forget to use those, by the way. And go out of bounds or throw the ball away when the opponent uses theirs. You get one use for each per half.

Well, this is going to be interesting.

Man i havent heard “WTF Boom!” in for so long. Brings back memories of my brother and me watching tom and jerry and spongebob remixes with it in the video. Good times

Dynasty! Dynasty! Okay but seriously, I love playing this game. It takes a little bit of getting used to, especially the dirty plays and the risk of having your players die (I started switching out my starters for the first few plays of each half so they wouldn't die to the dirty play cheese from the computer)

Man I remember finding out about this game on launch like 4-5 years ago, glad NTE is finally playing it!

NTE: I’ll leave it on all pro NTE: changes it to normal

I would like to get this game more for the dynasty mode. It looks like they really spent time on the management aspect. The gameplay doesn't look that great but that's fine.

The gameplay's pretty customizable. You can adjust the injury rate as well as toggle off things like on-the-field obstacles, trick plays, etc. I kinda enjoyed the weird stuff when I was in the right mood, but when I'd get tired of it I'd just switch it off and be left with a pretty solid arcade-style football game.

This game is awesome. definitely restart the season and Build your team a different way with everything you’ve learned

The dynasty mode is a little bit insane to start with. Especially on max level. Either a lower difficulty or just playing a season mode for a short series would be fun

And this is why you don’t play on All Pro right off the bat lol. Seriously though this would make a great series!

Love this so please keep it up, just restart the season with a different team and learn the controls a bit more. And like my cousin told me about this game: “They can’t win if they lose all their QBs”

I actually really enjoyed the dynasty mode in this game even though my expectations were low. It takes some getting used too.

Yeah, the Full Metal Mayhem are a super team. They are a team based on a collection of rock stars. Malice Stupor= Alice Cooper, Shreddy Von Hatin=Eddie Van Halen, Ziggy Starburster= Ziggy Stardust AKA David Bowie, and so on.

It is the best foot ball game ever. I suggest u try for yourself. Turn the death/injury down a little bit and spend your money on medium tier players instead of 4 great ones. Pick a better team then he did because you will have better dirty tricks.

I got this game, I find it more playable turning off the dirty tricks. Feels more like actual football which some of us expected when we purchased the game.

I'm so glad to see you pick this one up! MFL is my favorite sports game. Its replaced madden and 2k as the party game with sports bros.

I've never played this game, but I've got a sense you played it wrong lol. The CPU kept using "killer" moves against you and constantly attacked your team after a play was over while you um... kinda played it out like a normal football simulation game

Play on a lower difficulty and don’t invest in a QB. I always build up my defense and get a stud receiver that I just use power ups to get the ball to. Once I start winning, I build up the running game and invest in linemen. And you gotta use the dirty tricks and learn exactly what they do, it’s a huge part of the game. I’d love to see you give this game a second chance

Now I haven’t watched a second of this yet. But having played the game, and knowing what this channel is about. I can easily say that this is a long time coming!

Would love to see more Mutant league titles. A wrestler/fighter, hockey, and basketball.

I have roughly 200 hours in this game on GoG, it's pretty good. Glad to see coverage on it.1st when starting off, I like to go for a CB, WR , and LB. Upgrades to Kicker and Returner for field position. Good vid :) . You can make the opposing forfeit if you destroy their depth chart, especially at QB or it could help you take the lead :). Each Mutant type has their own specials, such as the "skeletons" will heal over time during the game if they aren't murdered. Orcs typically deal more damage with their cheap shots. Having them (The orcs) on the DL is pretty good.

The title: Football Game rated M for mature Blitz the League: Am I a joke to you?

Hope this becomes a series. This game looks awesome.

Lower the difficulty and i think you'll have a lot more fun. This was fun to watch. I'd love a series on this.

All of you saying this game is awful and looks unfun aren't understanding this game, it takes getting used to and learning how to use the dirty tricks and build a proper team along with starting on a easier difficulty then all pro like Drew did. Full Metal Mayhem is the most OP team in the game, they are based off of rock stars, dead or alive. I once played in a league for this and we had to ban them since their backups are still 80s and 90s which is too OP. Also look in the pause menu to see what each dirty trick does since you didn't use the shotgun button, your players automatically earn XP during the game by making plays kinda like a fantasy scoring system, and abuse that window after a tackle to button mash attacks.

If it is any consolation, it took me like, 4 tries to get a dynasty build off to a good start. But damn it was a blast once I got things off the ground, leveling up players with wild plays.
