This 2008 King Aire Surprised Me: But What Did I Find Wrong??
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
While in Kentucky deliving the 2018 Allegro Bus to Doug Sewell and Sewell Motorcoach, I was asked to inspect this beautiful first generation 2008 King Aire Luxury Class A Diesel from Newmar. I was struck with how it compared to modern King Aire's so I thought I would bring everyone along for the inspection and do a fairly complete walk-thru of the motorhome while showing some of the issues I did find. @Sewellmotorcoach

James...that first slide out you looked at, which had a small cut also had a cat scratch claw mark just a little deeper in ( I counted 4 little slices about 1/2-3/4" long, maybe 5 in total another scratch before those). Thanks for the demo/walk through...learned a bunch as usual....you the MAN!

Sure doesn't look like a 2008. 10 year rule definitely shouldn't apply to this gem. The fact that Doug's crew is going to fix all the little things you found and detail it makes this a darn good deal.

You're videos are awesome. Thank you for posting these. I want to go the full time route when I retire and not knowing all the information there is to know, you're videos are incredibly helpful. I was planning on a truck and fifth wheel toy hauler, but after watching you're videos for a while now, its a no brainer for the motor home and trailer lifestyle. Thanks again for all the info. Now its just finding the right one for pulling a 10,000 lbs trailer. 🤦♂️ Maybe you could do a video for newbies looking for the perfect land yacht to pull the toys with, lol. Take care and we really appreciate all the info. 🍻✌🤗

I do love the coach, but the 1 and only thing that isn't ideal IMO is the TV location. If it's bad weather I wouldn't like to turn 90° to see it
After paying your dues in the desert looks like your life's a dream now.
YOU COULD GET THIS COACH WITH A CERTIFIED CHECK FOR $ 223,000 . THAT IS A GREAT DEAL FOR A TOP LINE NEWMAR KING AIR. YES IT NEEDS ABOUT 10-15 FIXED BUT ALL MINOR THINGS MOSTLY COSMETIC.
Beautiful coach!

I have always wondered why they put the main TV in a spot where it is basically unwatchable when sitting the coach. Who watches TV at a 90-degree angle?
Hello Sir, not in the market for that big of a coach, but I have gotta say; the year, condition, features it has...$229 doesn't seem that bad of a price to me for all a person is getting! Betting a 2023 would be in the range of half a million, so here u get pre def and almost like new condition, and all said and done, a quarter of a mil saved to buy fuel and food and have a helluva nice 30 next vacations with it. U may say ur not a salesman, but Im betting that coach will get sold to someone whom follows your channel, and respects and values ur opinions and truthfulness. Appreciate your videos and knowledge.

All King Aire's are diesel. It's cool your dad stayed with Newmar and worked his self up to the top dog. I didn't understand the last part of your comment when you said "The man never got anything for free"? Am I missing something? I don't know anyone that gets anything for free. Either way, I wish you and your dad safe travels and much prosperity

As always great video. I always pick up something new especially when you review a newmar as i have a 2020 dutch star. 3 questions from this review. I want to upgrade the sewer vent. Vac-u-jet or lippert 360 siphon or other ? I want to add 3 covers to my fantastic fan. I assume the ultra breeze but what color is best for sun heat. We are in florida. 3 was considering painting the a c covers and fan covers with solar reflective paint to reduce heat and u v Dumb? Thx and keep reviews coming. Would love a series on annual maint for a pusher

I have to remove the plywood and some 2x2 from the metal roof on my motor home (1988 travilaire) Can I use contact cement or liquid nails to glue the metal roof to the new plywood? Or is there a glue that can be brushed on (4'x8' coverage) that I can by from my local home depot?

James, Just drove from Florida to Missouri. Passed some Tiffins and saw two small exhaust pipes coming out drivers side just like on this unit. What is the second one further back for? I’m at a loss! Not experienced with the big money RV’s.

one is probably the hydronic (diesel) hot water system exhaust, the other the generator.
