Have you ever thought the exact same thing applies to your opponent? Not only do they see you spinning around like an idiot, but on top of that they have no idea where your going to aim it. You could just be looking to clear the wave or hit your opponent but they have no idea because you're not letting them know before hand like many Xerath players tend to do. So that feeling that you hit more skills when you spin around is probably just a straight up reality because it not only messes with ur lane opponent but probably mildly confuses them as well.

@@gregoryent thats most likely not the reason(at least not the main reason), he does it to keep his position and have good spacing while loading the Q, so he spins in circle according to where he wants to be positioned after the Q goes off, not moving directly at the opponent, but instead keep his spacing while loading, since xerath mainly relies on hitting his abilites and having that extra long distance between him and his enemy. Its more of a logic thing, hence y OP doesnt think of y he does it, you would rather hit ur opponent with the tip of xerath q range, with the most range, so that once u have hit it, u are already positioned far from ur enemy

Wat u stated does happen in some situations (more so with pyke), but i can garuantee u that xerath mains dont spin in a cirlce before hitting their Q thinking "this should confuse him", its more so that once that Q goes off, they are already positioned far from the enermy, as xerath has zero mobility

Back when I was at school, I used to do the same during team/duo presentations when my teammates would bullshit some random/irrelevant stuff so that the class gets the impression we perfectly know what is the whole thing about. In the majority of the cases, It worked btw

Xerath feels unfair in a way, where if kat is 4/0 game is pretty much over she's gonna keep one shotting people you cant get close to her etc. But with 4/0 xerath enemy gets some mr, and you're still unable to walk up safely you're still gonna get rolled by Katarina. There comes a big price for being safe long range pick. Of course this game was like worst case scenario for him too

Xerath has always been one of the weakest mid laners. with this durability update, xerath finally has some much needed strength. Unfortunately every single mid laner with mobility will absolutely roll him. As you saw in this video, 10/3/10 xerath couldn’t beat the 1/6/1 Kat. Notice how hard this game was to carry even though he finished 11/4/15. Imagine if an assassin was that fed, the game would be over instantly. Tough life for mage players but that’s why I’m an assassin main!

Hey Drew you need some stream translation for this type of videos? I can speak Chinese fluently. Knowing what these streamers are saying in game will probably make these videos more fun to watch.

Yeah idk it's pretty obvious he isin't scripting. It's pretty obvious when you vs a scripter because every ability is literally perfectly centered on your character model.

My bad for not being clear enough, high elo here is chally as most people just wanna watch challenger streamers, and for most of them don't rly consider cl in oce as high as other regions. If I am right the reason he doesn’t use first strike is because it is terrible early and he against a kata picking first strike is basically giving up your ranged poke advantage. I play mostly just xerath and first strike just feels so utterly useless until 15-25 min in that it just doesn’t make sense picking unless very specific circumstances. And yes I also can’t resist spamming ctrl 3 in base or in lane for no reason the emote is just to fun to spam.

I can attest to midbeast's statement at 7:30, as a Xerath main I do in fact do that as well. It just kinda looks like you're dabbing on them a little bit so I like to spam it xD

The xerath problem - no matter how fed, if your team sucks, you lose. You cant 1v5

I've only been against a scripter once, I think. It's usually very obvious when someone scripts and it's entirely different from when someone just hits their skillshots.
