Looks quite good for the price considering what you get, great review. Shame it hasn't got Gran Turismo 4 though, but worth it for the dreamcast collection alone, plus everything else you get.

I just got the ROG Ally z1 extreme, I definitely want to play some retro games along with my current gen titles. Primarily PS 3, Wii U, XBox 360 with others on occasion.

I gotta buy one of these someday. I hacked my snes mini and built a pretty solid collection but it can’t really go past the snes era without major tinkering. I’m not very computer savvy so I’m ready for an easy plug and play game drive.

Im a recent subscriber & loving the regular content thank you. I just discovered Playnite & I had no idea what I was missing.

Does it connect to a mac? (Sorry in my mind PC means windows so i have to ask the question) thanks. And what minimum system requirements ? Can it work on an old computer like a 10 years old macbook?

16:39 Enter the dungeon is really good. There's numerous unique guns you collect that make references to MegaMan and so many others in a link dungeon like Ariel view. The bosses and enemies are unique and there's hidden shops and bonuses to be found depending on what you collect and how you collect them through the rooms.

A lot of these drives are sold with very old version on Batocera that don't work on many modern systems...very frustrating for novice users. The last time I bought one for a friend I had to spend time copying over the game data, and reformating the drive so the batocera partition was large enough to install a new version that is compatible with many mini ryzen pc hardware, then copy the data back over, and scrape for 3 days to get all the videos and stuff. Really not sure if theres a better solution, but it really can suck for those uninitiated

i have a 68 short box they just look so neat cant go wrong maybe someday i'll finish it only started working on it when i was 14 in 1994 LoL but its rust free Arizona truck was parked in 80's keep changing my build plans but one part and that's the turbo and 5 speed

Every time I watch one of your videos I think "PC specs?" So... What kind of hardware are you rocking to get that performance?

You wrote this will work with "just about any pc" Will it work even with a relatively cheap mini pc worth 100$ like a GMKtech N100 for example? Thanks buddy

It will but you will be limited with what games can be played for example ps3 won't work with a mini pc like that. What I meant was the drive is compatible with just about any pc. For the the really demanding emulators and collections you need a pretty powerful pc. With that one you should still get into about 85-90% of this drives games though.

That 2tb HDD is where it's at

The PS2/PS3/Sega Dreamcast games wouldn't work or would be extremely laggy for your laptop 💻 though.

HELP. NONE OF THESE GAMES HAVE SOUND. HOW DO I GET THE SOUND TO WORK DURING GAME PLAY??? There’s sound in the menus. But no sound during game play

Why waste money on the 500gb when the 5tb is three times the price with 10 times more of the newer games with big file size

Waste of money I got ‘RIPPED OFF’ . I bought the same RUBBISH with a 12TBB HDD with Playnite and RetroBat, firstly the triple AAA games most do not work and RetroBat work once then went down. I bought two of KINHANK and they were outstanding brilliant .

I should have waited two weeks to have learned about this one. It definitely lines up more with what I wanted compared to the one I purchased from this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/a36CprmoY86ehNI.html I'm still playing around with it to add more games and emulators to end up with it looking more like this one.

Scanned drive as soon as I got it, had 20 infections. I guess you just have to assume these drives have viruses and trojans.

I scanned it and didn't find any malware. I can't say that means I can vouch for everybody's drives being clear like mine but you can scan everything and verify yourself. It does give you drivers to download if you don't have them. I did already so I didn't need them. If you locate drivers yourself you would also eliminate some potential risks.

Be careful with these plug n play game hard drives😬I see a lot of reviews and comments on how thier loaded with viruses.i wouldn't touch any of those sold on Amazon.i personally have bacotera on my mini PC with my games and emulators
