    I would like to thank you for your videos. I discovered your channel about a month ago, and I watch them daily. You are a great teacher and motivator. Sadly I haven’t sold anything yet. However, do you think it is too late to sell Christmas items, ie Santa sweaters?

    Hey there! Thanks for the kind words. It's not too late to sell Christmas items, so long as you keep shipping time in mind. People will always be looking for Christmas items and presents up until the week before (so long as they can get them shipped). However, the sooner the better, and the more you can get listed through the remainder of this week and need week the better. Also, with your shop being only about 2 weeks old, that means Etsy really hasn't had any time to pick up your listings to share with people, so give it some more time. Sometimes sales come in a month, sometimes it's 6 months. This is dependent on how much effort you put into it. :)

    I just subscribed to Kittl so I'm going to be trying out a lot of different ideas. You said to comment what we thought - great video, thanks for showing us how to us the AI part of Kittl. My feeling about the retro Santa face is everyone is doing it. My shop is less than a year old - with about 1000 sales and my best sellers are only shirts that are completely unique. As a fairly new shop - when I do what everyone else is doing - it never sells. It has to really stand out not blend in.

    Good comment! Thanks for sharing. To be fair, he was showing us how to put a bit of a unique twist on the retro Santa design. However I tend to agree with you that some designs are just too saturated out there and those will be harder to sell.

    Glad you like Kittl! And yes, of course fair points, that's why we were mentioning to try and utilize different styles to "be in" but perhaps "stand out" amongst the same style everyone is doing. In regards to this particular trend, from what we researched competition is quite low still, while the demand seems to be high. However it is of course up to the user to research whether this is best suited for their intended audience. 😉 Glad to hear you are making some great sales!

    Great video. So what I've been running into is when I create a design in Kittl, and try to download it to Printify, it simply does not translate well. For instance, when I design an image in Kittl, download it onto Printify with the background, obviously the color of the t shirt provided by the supplier does not match the background, no matter how much I try to fiddle with it. Then when I try to remove the background in Printify, some of the images and white font disappear. So I'm at odds as to what to do to keep the integrity of the project I worked hard on in Kittl, in Printify, if that makes any sense at all

  • @Kittldesign

    @Kittldesign

    7 ай бұрын

    Hey there, generally the image that Printify gives you will be the closest representation. You can look in Printify to see if they can provide you a HEX code that will be most similar to the shirt color, as Printful also provides this as an option. We would not recommend exporting your design along with the background attached for t-shirt design, as you'll want to export a transparent design so that only your design shows on the t-shirt in Printify (not along with the background attached). When exporting from Kittl, you can select "Remove Background" to make sure that it is not included. Hopefully that is helpful.

  • @Kittldesign

    @Kittldesign

    8 ай бұрын

    Typically, that is far less than most holiday topics and niches within Etsy search results. For example, if you type in Christmas ornament, or personalized christmas ornament, it will be exponentially more search results. Just under 100,000 listings is actually far smaller in comparison, meaning the current supply is slightly ahead of demand, but as demand grows, there will be more competition, which is why we are suggesting to get in and bring your own style to the trending design. :)

    I love Kittl, but the Kittl AI is the worst. Someone mentioned creepy Santas. I've blown through 20 AI credits with the prompts from the video and others trying to get something even remotely close to those samples at the start and they're not even in the ballpark. Same goes with any AI attempts on Kittl that I try. You should see the scary creepy result I got for "happy retro disney-style cartoon santa claus head" So love Kittl, but the Kittl AI gives unfortunately the worst result of the many I have tried (I stick with the others when I need some AI graphic assistance).

    @@kwiser8 Funny you mention that: many of my santas had two hats (one pom on either side -- their AI likes to do this apparently). If Kittl can make this engine usable (or at least up to par with Adobe AI and others that are pretty good), then it would be a great addition to the platform. This and vastly improving what they offer for mockups are two things that could be improved.

    Unfortunately, everytime a KZreadr does a video like this...the market niche does get saturated...and quickly, as everyone is competing for the same dollar in a very limited window. Having a great design is the least of it, getting seen is the struggle. And I don't use Kittl A I...the quality is abysmal unless youre into cartoonish sci-fi, dungeons and dragons looking "art". There are other A I generators that do a spectacular interpretation of prompts. I'll keep checking in though.
