Thirty-seven Years Of Chronic Pain Gone: Here's How I Did It

It's not a competition to see who's recovered from the most extended period of having persistent pain. Still, it is inspirational to know that recovery is possible after such a lengthy time in pain. Jayne tells her compelling story about how she entered, got stuck, and overcame persistent pain. It's such a common entry point and middle part of many people's stories that they believe will never have the ending they wish for. Jayne highlights how and what she did to move through that seemingly impenetrable pain barrier and now lives a life completely free from the persistent symptoms that blighted her life for so long. Her realisation and story could become yours if you're open to allowing it.
Enjoy the video.
Thanks
Drew

    My mum has been suffering from chronic pain for 15 +years. I really hope she can find help and heal like you have. I read the boom The way out by Alan Gordon. I learnt a little bit of somatic tracking with her and it made a significant difference both times. She is currently taking many different supplements. But i hope to see her find a way through

    I have no idea how this game up in my feed. I have been horizontal for the last 3 weeks as my decades long chronic pain has gone into over drive. Jayne I am also a Canadian (Ontario) retired dental hygienist. Your story is my story right from childhood trauma to having to quit a job I loved because of chronic pain. I am desperate for help and as I type this I have tears rolling down my face. Thankyou so much for being willing to have me contact you.

    That’s one thing we avoid talking about and sharing…our fear. Surely this information has been around on one form or another but the medical establishment and all its adjuncts do not benefit by having people getting healed for barely any cost.

    I agree that this information has been around since the beginning of time. Humans have always known intuitively how to recover but that process has been clouded and many have been led to believe it is beyond their reach. The good news is that recovery is possible.

    I wish more people with chronic pain would be open to trying this type of therapy. I have many patients with chronic pain that I think would benefit from this, but unfortunately, they are still trying to find a cause for their pain in the body. They refuse to even try a mind-body approach. Thank you Jayne for your openness in this interview.

    If their pain keeps them safe then a familiar hell often appears safer than an unfamiliar hell. Recovery comes through being curious moving into what is unfamiliar, and then realising that new place of safety is a much more pain-free place to then stay.

    I feel fortunate that this video interview and your channel came into my feed. When Jayne said that she is no longer simply surviving the day until time to sleep and repeating each day I felt she was talking to me and for the first time in so long I actually felt hope. Thank you 🙏

    Jayne and Drew, Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been in chronic pain for 33 years, which started after a car accident just like what Jayne described. My story is very similar in so many ways. I only learned about neuroplastic pain a few months ago (though I’ve known about Sarno’s work for many years) and am on a similar journey. I am still in constant pain, but am extremely inspired by Jayne’s story. It is giving me so much hope! Thank you.

    ❤ I feel like that’s me talking! Carbon copy, it seems! I also listen to Tanner Murtaugh & their Mind/Body couple podcast. They’re great! And, Dan Buglio-Pain Free You on YT. I am so grateful I came across this tonight! I desperately needed this!! 33 years of chronic pain for me after a rear ending which damaged my neck. So many other traumas/accidents/surgeries/autoimmune illnesses since then. You’re Really giving me Hope, tonight. Thank You Thank You!

    Jesus Said it to paralytics 2000 years ago! You are Safe and Free and Okay! The Pharisee Church had people Bound with so many rules. I am paralytic too because of a church I was told I had to go to and follow All their man made rules. Jesus Saved me too through this ladies testimony. The Fear of God. Thank You 🙏 So Much! 😊❤

    Hello Drew and Jayne. Your video. I don't know where to start. Jayne is telling my story too. 27 years here. 10 less than you Jayne but I am looking to see an end to it. I have just finished The Way Out and I'm a believer. I am also in the Ottawa area. Couldn't believe it when you disclosed your location. Like you, I don't think the book is enough so I reach out to you for advice. Would you be able to discuss with me the route to follow to get to where you are? At your convenience of course. Thank you.

    I’ve had multiple surgeries on my stomach and those wounds have healed and I have 0% pain there witch is great Now I have chronic pain in other parts of my body that where not injured 🧐 To me this was the beginning that maybe this is real , maybe my mind is really causing the pain It’s just for SO MANY YEARS we have been conditioned to think something is physically wrong.

  • @thepainhabit8343

    @thepainhabit8343

    Yes we’re biologically wired to first check for a physical cause. Once that’s been done and there’s no evidence of that, or any damage has been given time to heal, then ongoing pain is likely due to these mechanisms.
