I've been a fan of TSTM since the beginning, and I still love Jared & Shannon, but I miss the energy of having a full band on stage. Initially, there were 4 members, then 3, and now it's down to just the 2 brothers. What the hell happened to Tomo? I miss that guy! I think you fellas need to reunite.

Tomo quit the band for "health reasons" at the last album. Something happened for sure... supposedly he wanted to go back to the more rock music and not the more pop they are doing now.

This sounds like a Maroon 5 song that Adam Levine passed on. 🧐

Wish they made music like they did on their first record when they were a rock band. Now they make music catering to the pop masses.

This should definitely be named differently…. Not the same band, not the same vibe, not the same anything. I miss the 4 band members rocking it out.

Minimum efforts for both jared and his brother for this song. No guitar needed and Shannon awkwardly looking busy on the drums. Probably with age you want to work less and not too hard . I do hope the other new songs have more of an impact on stage.

Just watched the whole set on dailymothion. The band is still pretty fun to watch but its just not the same without Tomo guitar riffs. I feel like him leaving was such a loss for the band. Shannon is still giving explosive performance but Jared old age is showing up in his vocals. He can't comfortably sing the old songs choruses anymore let alone the screams. I discovered the band back in 2015 and back then with Tomo's riffs, Shannon's beats and Jared comfortably screaming his lungs out over them , they were just glorious. His vocal power notably went down in America tour. Anyway, listening to their first 4 albums for the first time in 2015 was the best experience I have ever had with music in my life.

he really forced his voice back in the day and you can hear through the albums after This Is War that he payed a toll for all that extensive touring back in 09-11. after those days hes been letting the crowd since the choruses he lost that high range he had and just wanted to do pop its easier but clearly most fans turned off on that.

He always sang badly. I saw them live in 2008, Jared didn't sing the choruses and when he had to hit high notes he turned the mic towards the audience. He didn't sing a song in full, he cut them all halfway, to say nonsense sentences. One of the worst bands he's ever heard.

In the past he has often sung while being terribly sick. That can really destroy your vocal chords. Other than that I think he may have strained his vocal chords a lot during concerts as well. And on the other hand: even though he may look younger than he is, vocal chords do age too and the harsher the use the more intense the aging might be. Just wildly guessing here but all those things may have lead him into singing within a very easy vocal range for him. I haven't heard him sing in a range he used to use in the past couple of videos. I surely miss the energy from back then, I even complained to my mom about that because I really miss it and would've been happy to hear new music from them with the same intensity as e.g. this is war had. But we do not walk in Jared's or Shannon's shoes so we can't choose that. We can only receive or decline what they deliver. I do enjoy listening to their new album even though it didn't blow me away. But I may never visit a concert anymore. I am glad I did it years ago, it was the perfect time for me and I went three times in a row. But to me going to a concert is VERY stressful and I actually hate it, so I really need a valid reason to go. Back then I went for the energy and really enjoyed it.

i've come to accept that 30STM will never be the same band anymore since it's just jared and shannon left and i won't lie, i genuinely didn't mind this song when it came out but my god, this was an empty shell of a performance. jared didn't sing like he did in the studio version and shannon didn't even play the drums?? like what is his role at this point? kind of an awful performance all-round, ngl. the spirit of this band is long gone. at least when America came out, jared had the energy to belt out some vocals and shannon actually played his instruments like he should ;;

Full band? Right. This was all playback, except his vocals but he was following playback anyway. The drummer isn't playing anything at all (the camera cut off his hands when he's it would be too obvious, and all the other shots he's never playing while the beat magically go on). On top of that, you gonna make us believe that people who all followed Jared's particular fashion sense all randomly got chosen, lined up and all stayed in that perfectly neat delimited rectangle in the corner....? Right. I'm sorry to all Thirty Seconds to Mars fans... they've become a joke.

So this was basically a karaoke performance

Тоже давно заметила, что он либо с плюсом прям выступает, либо в зал микрофон выставляет, либо других артистов зовёт с собой выступать, сам мало поет и то больше кривляется я бы сказала.. Очень люблю Джа, но видимо внешне он все так же молод, а с голосом уже беда 😢

Certamente, aspetteremo l’uscita di questo “album” ma questo è lo stile ormai, come possono definirsi ancora un band? Il live non esiste più, la parte strumentale è stata massacrata, vai ad ascoltarti tutto l’album “this is war” l’ultimo che a tenuto fede a qualcosa che sia musica; da lì in poi un completo declino

Почему столько хейта? Это вполне нормально меняться и искать что-то новое. Быть во времени. Они вышли на более широкую аудиторию. Свои лучшие рок песни они уже точно спели и лучше бы уже не было. Они выбрали другой стиль и сделали крутой альбом, каждая песня в котором - бомба. И его хочется слушать и слушать. Они по прежнему зажигают и прекрасны в своем деле.
