He isn't hovering over the ground as the lyrics in this clip says, he sings that his "hair [is] made of the ground". Like he is really spun probably. I knew these lyrics by heart since 1997 haha! Totally go-to song if ever Im pushed onto a karaoke stage. Really fun to try out at home! :D

It's "heavy on the ground" -- which really changes the meaning. I misheard it as "carried off the ground" til I read the lyrics on Tidal

nah bro it's "hovering." pronounced like huv-rin (or a bit like huv-reen maybe, just puttin some twang on it), like smooshing it into 2 syllables.
