So here is a easter egg you missed. What the lower case letters did to F, is what F did to them Example: J shot F, then when they become older F shoots J.

M actually was just doing what L and O were doing, since LMNOP was a group, so M wasn’t really bad, and didn’t do much to N, he actually comforted N in the first part of the series.

It wasnt just Z. Z AND Q were responsible for the better ending. Q made N take his gem so that not only would he remember the past but also the future so he would know to do something different.
