Thinking About Alice
Alice of Alice & the Giant Bookcase was a lovely person. This morning I learned the sad news of her passing. My thoughts are with her family at this time, and BookTube has lost a lovely person!!
As a tribute to Alice & her memory, I thought I'd challenge myself to read as many Agatha Christie books in a year as I can. I will be starting with Hallowe'en Party, more to follow later!!

Thank you so much for your comments and thoughts about Alice. She would be thrilled to know you will be reading some of her beloved Agatha's novels. Alice would be amazed at the outpouring of love for her in the Booktube community,she was such an unassuming person and just enjoyed sharing her love of books with whoever found time to watch her videos. Jane, I am so sorry for you, Jim, and the rest of your family and Alice’s friends and send you all my condolences. Like most people, I was never lucky enough to meet Alice, I only ‘knew’ her through You Tube and Instagram and I had the pleasure of doing a buddy read with her of Three Men in a Boat, but I felt a real connection to her. I was stunned to hear of her passing and I’ve been thinking of her ever since. I can only imagine what those of you who were closest to her are feeling. My thoughts are with you. I’m going to revisit some of her videos where she talks about what is still on her giant bookshelf and get at least one of those books off it for her. RIP lovely Alice and, Jane, Jim and family, take care of yourselves.

Hello Jane, I was so saddened to hear this news, sending you and your family my love and thoughts at this time!! She always made me smile with her video's, and I like to think she would finally get through her giant TBR where ever she is!! She will be, and certainly is very missed....she touched so many people in the booktube community!! Sending much love to you all right now!!xxx
