i Bought it two weeks ago because of this video and received a trition clone, I am very upset because I had been waiting for a while and received something half the value of what I originally ordered. I honestly would have not been very mad if it was an og4 or something the same price range as the kraken I ordered , but I received someing way worse😢, trying to get a refund now or trade it in for the new armed shark 7075

Don't forget to mention the store you got it from so people can avoid it. Personally I recommend 'balisong butterfly knife store', the guy seems decent and even visits the clone subreddit. Ordered from him twice and the first time I didn't get my order because it got lost in shipping but I did get my money back. Second time nothing happened and I got what I ordered.

6:17 that combo was insane. That’s crazy how good that thing is for the price. The slippery-ness factor is kinda a big toll on me, especially being a beginner still. But for 40 bucks, that’s a steal. Loved the review man!

Made my balisong look amazing!! I really enjoyed the review and agree with the points you bought up. Even after weeks with it the tolerance is still great. Still, the only complaint I have is the grip. Very very great video!

Like you said in the video, depends on preference. I prefer light and grippy balisong and the best one I have bought in Ali Express is the G10 JK Orca Clone. I am waiting for my Bali+ Nautilus though. I also have other balisong clones with more weight and these is what I would order them. Kraken, Falcon, Glidr OG, and Triton.

@@cantflipforship You know more than me because everything you said in this video is spot on about clones and learned something new. My issue is with being slippery which makes some tricks hard to do like laddering for example Kiss Good Bye and sometimes Rollovers tricks or doing Whips. The G10 JK Orca fixes all those issues for me.

Might I recommend you try the new Nabalis Canyon instead. It's a $40 trainer made of stainless steel, and it carries momentum very nicely.

Yes it is handle biased, but I wouldn’t say it’s so handle biased that it’s horrible for fans. It fans just fine it’s just not as buttery as a neautral knife

@@exemplariness it's a 1:1 for the most part. The blade isn't as good. The zen nipple is too large which creates a bigger handle gap and does effect fanning but you can just sand it down or replace the blade. Real squid hardware should fit. Cause I've compared it to my real Kraken

@@LuciferArc1 Armed Shark are working on creating a Krake Raken with 7075 aliminium currently. It will probably be better than Yuppie’s since Armed Shark has overall better fit bushings and better washers.

@@colonel86 the yuppie has great handle construction and hardware. The problem is the blade isn't machined to the correct fit so it doesn't swing smoothly despite the bushings being perfect

Im new to the community, and I already have beef. All these flippers keep refering to these trainers as "knives" when they are clearly not. The definition of knife is: "an instrument composed of a blade fixed into a handle, used for cutting or as a weapon." Trainers are best described as a toy. You cant cut anything, cant stab anyone, cant defend yourself with it. I get that they are great for training, maybe even necessary, but I get kind of triggered with imprecise language used by people who would run and hide if they actually ever needed a knife. Not you, of course. I can tell you see the difference. Just seemed like a good place to vent. Maybe you can make a video sharing your thoughts.

I would make a video but I’ve died on this horse a few times. This community for some reason really dislikes live blades. The trainer side of the community is the prevalent side and they for some reason are very catty about it. If I were you I would say not to die on that hill. I like using live blades but I don’t wanna push it on anyone cuz there’s no point. Trust me bro I feel ur frustration but if I were you I would just try to ignore it. At the end of the day live blade and trainer enthusiasts still have a lot in common so it’s not worth having beef. Thanks for sharing though. 🙏
