When he was saying the intro, I couldn't help but add in all the jolly bonkers ish that was happening at the very moment the birds were chirping & he crossed the walkway over the hudson like a modern day rocky. They didnt show the fun homeless crews, and the hooks on hooker ave (nope, not even a joke. They for some reason are on that street. Law of attraction maybe?) I used to live in PK so its all love, but to anyone moving there I wish you the best. Be careful though just like in any city; desperation is right around the corner and he/she may not value life like you do. Much love!

All depends on what part. North of rail trail and spackenkill and red oak mills is the best places.
So driving about 5 minutes through parts that I seen of poughkeepsie I was not impressed. I do love the hudson valley and would love to visit other areas like Beacon and Tarrytown. The guy in the video is cute.

Catskills, white plains, and dont sleep on the little villages between the bigger cities and towns. I moved from the bronx to the lower hudson valley as a kid but ive lived all over it and Ive met some of the best people in some of the most random places; I also can say the same in a negative way but that goes for anywhere, not just the hudson valley- Peekskill has a nice little water front area right by the Bear Mountain Bridge. Enjoy though!
