Dexter cattle are not miniature cattle. Actually they are the smallest breed of cattle in the world not classified as a miniature. Dexter cattle do not require grain. They do just fine on grass. Matter of fact no breed of cattle require grain to thrive. Feeding grain to cattle is an unnecessary man made requirement.
